December Empties

Hello lovelies, how are you today?
I can't believe that it is the 1st of January 2015, how crazy is that? 2014 has just flown by hasn't it?
I hope you have all had a fantastic New Years eve and look forward to 2015 with hope, love and happiness.
I thought I would share with you my December empties and what I thought of them. So, with no further ado, here we go.....

Insette dry shampoo: WBA  (Would buy again) as I found this to buy me a couple of days more of not having to wash my hair, it is cheap and smells divine.
Treseme Silky smooth conditioner: WNBA (Would not buy again) as this did nothing for my hair and was a nightmare to get out of the bottle.
Treseme Silky Smooth shampoo: WNBA as good a shampoo as this was, it was just too difficult to get out of the bottle. Not worth the hassle.

LYNX Shower gel Attract: WBA as I adore men's shower gels, they smell soooo good and this bad boy was no exception. Love.
Lubattie bath oil: WBA as this was just divine, it moisturised my extremely dry skin and did not irritate my eczema.
Loccitane rose shower gel: WNBA as I was disappointed with this as it didn't foam up enough for me and I didn't feel it was worth the money.
Kleenex eye make up remover wipes: WBA and have done so on many occasions. It removes waterproof make up with ease.
Racinne moisturiser: WNBA only because it is out of my price range but I do think it is a lovely moisturiser.
Nails Inc caviar top coat: WBA as I think this is a good top coat and helps to lengthen the longevity of my nail polish.
Superdrug nail polish remover: WNBA as I had to use a fair bit of this to get my normal polish off. Not good.
Benefit That Gal primer: WNBA as this did nothing for me, didn't even brighten my skin. Not a fan.
Benefit Porefessional: WCBA (Would consider buying again) but only if it is on offer as I find Benefit to be expensive though I do like this primer.
Nivea lip balm: WBA as this is a nice lip balm.
OPI mini nail polish: Unfortunately, as you can see, this bottle broke but luckily, I have 1 or 2 other nail polishes hehehe.
It is that time again where I have to bid you farewell. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and have fun.

Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.

NOTD: Essie Marabou Nail Polish

Hello my lovelies, how are you all?
I hope you are all doing OK.

I thought I would share with you a NOTD featuring Essie's Marabou polish.
I have to say that as much as I like the shade, I don't like this particular polish. It was runny, went on very very streaky, so much so that I had lumps in the polish when it dried.  I was so tempted to take it off straight away but I wanted to see how long it would last before chipping, sadly that it didn't even last the day. I so not like this polish in the slightest. Sorry Essie.

It is that time where I have to say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

What I got for Christmas

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all feeling well and haven't got too big a hangover from the New Years eve celebrations hehehe. I had a  nice quiet, family night and it was just lovely. I hope your night was just as good if not more so.
Today, I thought I would share with you what I got from the big guy himself, Father Christmas. You have to love a guy in a red & white suit.
Christmas is my favourite time of the year and this year was no exception. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas too.

I did also get a fantastic camera but I forgot to take a picture of it. Sorry about that.
I guess it is that time where I say good bye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.

NOTD: Revlon Parfumerie Autumn Spice

Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are all well.

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on today's NOTD, Autumn Spice from Revlons Parfumerie range. In all honesty, I only bought this and a few of the other shades because of the bottles as I think they are stunning but boy, have I been shocked at just how much I love these polishes, this shade in particular. I freaking love this beauty.
It is almost opaque in 1 coat, the brush is flat and is easy to use. The shade really is breath taking and I have wore this a good few times since buying it last year. And can we talk about the scent? Oh boy is it stunning, it smells like Christmas and I looked like a right muppet smelling my fingers all the time, seriously, the scent lasts a good few days too, even after top coat, which surprised me greatly. I love it.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time

17 Stay Time Pressed Powder Review

Hello my lovelies,
how are you all?
I hope you are all feeling ok and not feeling the January blues.
I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Seventeed Stay Time pressed powder available here for £4.49 though it is included in the buy 1 get 1 half price offer that Boots have going on atm.
I was receommended this by friend as I was looking to find a powder that was not cakey and doesn;t wear off straight away. I must admit that I wasn't holding out much hope as any other drugstore powders I have tried I have not really liked but this surprised me something chronic. I have to say that it is 1 of my go to powders atm as it really does stay put, it is so buttery soft and finely milled that it does not cake up in the slightest (well, on me anyway), it also gives a light coverage too. I am extremely impressed with this powder and will definately repurchase when this bad boy runs out. Have you tried the Seventeen powder? What do you think of it?

I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time

NOTD: Smitten Polish

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping ok?

I thought I would share with you a beautiful NOTD by Smitten Polish The Ghost of Jupiter. I bought this polish, and other little pretties from a lady on a Facebook nail page of which there are a fair few. You can see that haul here.
Ghost of Jupiter is a beautiful dark blue with small and medium glitter pieces that add a little extra glamour to the mix. This pretty was opaque in 2 coats though was a tad rough when the polish dried even with 2 coats of top coats though that didn't put me off. I absolutely love this polish, just stunning.

It is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until next time,

Revolution The Matte Effect Foundation Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you all?
I hope you are all ok.

I thought I would share with you a review on the Revolutions Matte effect foundation. I have a few products from Make Up Revolution and there will be more reviews over the coming months but for now, onto the Matte foundation.
I am extremely surprised at just how good this is for £2, I mean, seriously, what did I expect for £2? Not alot but I am happy to be surprised by this foundation and will definately be repurchasing this in a different shade.
I do like this foundation, it is thin but not runny. It is a light coverage and is most definately matte. The lasting power is not anywhere near the 16 hours it claims it can be, though it lasted a good 6-7 hours on me with no patchiness when wearing off. It blended beautifully and also layers really well.

It is that time where I have to say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.

MUA Luxe Lip Velvet Review and swatches Atomic & Funk

Hello my lovelies,
how are you all doing? I hope you are keeping well.

I thought I would share my thoughts on the MUA Luxe lip Lacquers in the shades Atomic & Funk. These are blooming amazing quality for the price, MUA really have knocked it out of the park with these bad boys. I just love them though these particular shades are too bright for me to wear on a daily basis, they are fantastic for a statement lip of a night time. I did think they were the lightest shades when I first bought them but as you will see from the link that MUA have brought out much lighter shades over the past few months and I think I will purchase some more.
These are super pigmented and you only need a small dot on the middle of your lip to get the full pigmentation when used with a lip brush. Once these bad boys dry, they do not move form your lips until you remove them with a facial wipe or cleanser.
I highly recommend these to everyone and for only £1,95 atm as MUA have a bit of a sale on (normal price £3), you cannot go wrong with these.

Have you tried these? What are your thoughts? Please let me know any recommendations for me to try.

Until the next time, that is it for now. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Nail Haul

Hello my lovelies,
I hope you are all keeping wrapped up nice and warm in this horrible weather.

I thought I would share with you a very quick nail haul from a nail group on Facebook. I have been absolutely loving my nail polishes of late and might have gone a little crazy on purchasing 1 or 2. Ouch. These are the latest to find their way into the 2 drawers of nail polishes and will be used in a future NOTD post with my thoughts on them.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

The further adventure's of Bubbles the Shih Tzu

Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are feeling well?

I thought I would share with you Bubble's further adventure's this past  month.
She is completely and utterly in love with her new best friend, Mitch who is a gorgeous Bichon fise. He is such a sweetheart and when Bubble's isnt in tow, he gets excited until he realises she isnt with me and climbs on his bed and just refuses to move from there. The poor fella.
Below is Bubble's favourite local park and the common at the back of where I live, she just loves it. She loves the park more because of all of the children that play there, she loves to join in the fun and sulks if she cant lol.
I have started to introduce her to 2 types of walks too, we have school run walk which happens in the morning and in the afternoon. And then comes her favourite type of walk: the Freedom walk. I have a completely seperate lead for this as I just let her loose and she chooses what we do, we can be out for hours and she is always goosed by the time we get home. She has a tendency to love running in the leaves and chasing them when the wind blows them around.
She doesn't overly like getting wet and I dont look forward to giving her a bath because of this as she can be a bit snappy. I am trying to turn bathtime into funtime, introducing toys and only putting in a small amount of water and gradually introducing more with each bath. Hopefully this works for us in the end as it is traumatic and extremely upsetting for her.
She still isn't coming down the stairs on her own yet, though getting up them is not an issue lol. I think she gets so excited when she gets up but forgets she can't get down them, she has a very sad howl when she is up there and wants to come down. the poor lamb.

I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye until the next time. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

NOTD: Hard Candy

Hello lovelies,
how are you all?
Are you ready for Christmas yet?
I know I'm not, I still have the food to get and wrap presents but everything else is almost ready.
I thought I would share a NOTD post with you and the nail polish is Hard Candy's Beetle.
It is a beautiful shade and I have to admit that this is 1 of my all time favourite polishes. I just love it.
It is opaque in 2 coats, glides on beautifully and stayed chip resistant for 2 days straight which is a pretty big deal for me as my nails chip within a day usually.
I would highly recommend this particular shade for Autumn/winter.
LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye.

Mascara Face Off

 Hello my lovelies,
I hope you are feeling well?

I thought I would share my thoughts on these 3 mascaras that I am currently using, which one I prefer and if I would repurchase.

So, onto the 3 mascaras and they are Maybelline the falsies volume express waterproof, Maybelline Rocket Volume waterproof and W7 Flirty eyes normal mascara. All are in the shade black

The first mascara is the Maybeline The Falsies Volume express (available here): I HATE this one! The wand bends in a daft place which makes it extremely awkward applying it to my eyelashes and ends up on my upper eyes and on my cheeks. The formula is very, very wet and stings my eyes like crazy. A definate no no for me. 2/10

Next up is the Maybeline The Rocket volume ( and you can purchase it here): I love this beauty. It is definately the best out of the 3 for me. The brush is rubber and does not bend, it combs through my lashes wonderfully, separate's, voluminisees and lengthens my very short and sparse eyelashes. The formula is perfect, not too wet and not to dry. The only negative for me is that it makes my eyelashes start to feel heavy after a few hours and I have to take it off but that is because of how sensitive my eyes are. This is almost perfect. A definate repurchase for me. 8/10

Last but by no means least, is the W7 Flirty eyes mascara (available here): Love this too but I have to remove 1 point as it is not waterproof which is a sad thing for me. It has the best brush out of all 3, it has a sexy curvy shape that gets right into those stubborn to reach lashes (which in my case, is all of them), it bends alot but that doesn't stop it from giving you volumous and lengthened lashes. The formula is almost perfect and for the price,I wan't expecting too much. I am extremely impressed with this beauty. Sadly though, I wouldn't repurchase because it isn't a waterproof but once they start making it, I am there with bells on. 7/10

I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye. Remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
