Clinique Lash Power Mascara

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Clinique lash power mascara in black.
I have to say that I have tried a couple of other Clinique mascaras and they didn't impress me as I found they were just basic mascaras that didn't do anything for my lashes, but with this 1, I found it to be amazing for me.
The brush is thin enough to literally get under my bottom lashes, it doesn't smudge or flake and is so easy to use. The length that the mascara gives to my forever straight lashes is just amazing, I havent seen them that long in such a long time. Having said that, it doesn't hold a curl for too long but I have also yet to find a mascara that does hold a curl.
In the warmer months my left eye waters like crazy and this mascara did not streak or smudge even when I rubbed my eyes. I just love it and will definately be repurchasing this in the future.

It is that time where I say goodbye,

Until the next time,

NOTD feat China Glaze Shocking Pink

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share with you what I am currently wearing on my nails today China Gaze shocking pink. To be fair, this is another of a neon mini collection I was sent from a lovely lady I know and it still scares me a tad while wearing it. I have to say that it is growing on me with how bright it actually is on such a miserable and wet British day.
There are a couple of other polishes from this set that I have tried here & here
and found that I genuinely enjoyed wearing them.
Pool party is my favourite out of the neon's and isn't as bright as the other polishes in the set though is still bright. The formula is a little thin but nothing I can't work with, it didn't streak or bobble which is a seriously good thing.
Have you tried any neon polishes? What are your thoughts? Do you know of any neon (or non neon)polishes that you think I might enjoy?

It is that time where I say goodbye,

NOTD: Zoya Liberty

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing OK?

Today I thought I would share with you what I have on my nails today: Zoya's Liberty.
I have to say straight off that I doon't like the colour on me with a slight tan, it looks so much better on me when I am paler sadly. Having said that, the colour is just stunning and I do love wearing it and it will definately be 1 that stays in my collection throughout my many declutters that I have.
The formula is phenominal, it is opaque in 2 coats, applys without streaking or any gloopiness.
This bad boy has already been on my nails for 3 days without chipping excpt on my index finger on my left hand but that is down to me and not the polish, I have been opening plastic containers and tins without thining about it lol. I can't stress just how amazing the formula is, I LOVE Zoya nail polishes, they are just amazing and I have yet to own 1 that I don't like.

Have you tried Zoya nail polish?
What are your thoughts and do you have any recommendations?

Cheshire Oaks Village Outlet Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with you some bargains that I recently bought from my trip to Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village. I must say that I haven't been in a good while and have missed the place, I forgot how much I loved it.
I knew which shops I would be hitting and was hoping for some seriously good deals, so without further ado, here we go....
First off, I went into Yankee Candle and when I saw they was having a 50 to 70% off sale, I knew I was going to struggle keeping to my budget of £20. I was right as everything came to just over £30 and when I worked out the retail price was £74.84, I quickly realized it was a pretty damn good deal.
Next, I went into Bodyshop where I only bought a couple of things, though even that turned out to be a blooming good buy as I had £5 on my Bodyshop card that I didnt know about,  plus there was a further 10% off too. I just couldn't argue with that now could I?
I next went into the Beauty Outlet and found some lovely little bargains that I just could not turn my nose up at. The Loreal Infallible primer and foundation at £4.99 each,  Revlon lip butters were £2.99 each, Orly nail polish £2.99, Loreal True Match concealer also £2.99,W7 Banana Dreams was £2.99 and the nail cube was £1.49. Not too shabby?
Now onto what turned out to be the most exciting for me, the Cosmetic Company Outlet Store. I had never been to a CCO before and I had to admit to some serious excitement. There was Mac, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Smashbox, Origins etc and I could have spent so much money in there it was unreal. I did have a budget of £50 and as you can no doubt see, I did go over but not as much as you would think, I only spent £51.50. Also, there was an offer of that if you spent £50, you would recieve a free Estee Lauder compact, how could I turn that down?

Have you visited the Cheshire Oaks Village? What did you think of it? What did you buy?
I would love to hear from you?

NOTD: China Glaze Fairy Dust & Dorothy Who and Morgan Taylor Best Ball Gown Ever

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with you what I am wearing on my nails today: Morgan Taylor Best Ball Gown ever, China Glaze Fairy Dust and China Glaze Dorothy Who.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the thin formula of the Morgan Taylor polish but I think I can work with it as a topper over a pale blue or even a white to make it pop in hte not too distant future. As you see it in the pictures, that is with 4 coats and I am not overly patient when it comes to doing my nails I can tell you.
Both China Glaze polishes are just stunning though the Dorothy Who has to be my favourite because it is just breathtaking and I cant stop looking at it, the shimmer in it just pops and I love it. Don't get me wrong though, the fairy dust is gorgeous but I have to say that I much prefer the Models own Northern Lights holo topper for these kinds of shades, it is gorgeous.
Have you tried any of the China Glaze or Morgan Taylor polishes? What are your favourites and which do you think I would enjoy?

Quick Nail Haul feat Nails Inc & Essie

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share a very quick haul from Boots where I got 4 nail polishes for a grand total of 40p. Yes, 40p. I know, that is insane isn't it?
When I saw them sitting there all alone, I just had to pick them up didn't I? I mean seriously, how could I have left them there? It just was not possible.
First of the Essie mini polishes was Cute as a button (and it really is), with the band and leggy legend. The Nails Inc polish was the shade Optic Flame that was on promotion with the colgate toothpaste but must have been left over which is lucky for me.
Have you had any luck with any gorgeous clearance items? I would love to hear from you.

Laura Geller Balance N Brighten Foundation Porcelain Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

Have you seen the sun? How amazing is that?
I don't know about you but I have been making sure that I have been taking advantage over the past weekend and taking my little girl and Bubbles out & about. How can I not? It is brilliant that we are getting the sun here, it wasn't that long ago since we was having snow. Yikes.
Anyhoo, enough of my rambling and on to what I wanted to share with you today, the Laura Geller Balance N Brighten foundation in Porcelain.
The BNB starts out as a cream foundation but it is triple baked on a terracotta tile to get the consistency that you see in the pictures.
I have to say that I absolutely love this powder foundation, it is just amazing and I can't rave about it enough. I love it on its own with just concealer or like today as a setting powder over a tinted moisturiser to give that little bit of extra coverage. It is not cakey in the slightest and you seriously can't feel it when it is on.
It is available on the QVC website for £28, though it is a tad steep even though you get a brush with it I much prefer to get it when it is either in 1 of LG many bundles, eg the mediterannean collection for £45 for pretty much a full face of make up (I do have this set and it really is lovely) or in a TSV (which is a todays special value). Love LG products and recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Have you tried the LG BNB powder foundation? What are your thoughts?

the eyeshadow junkie tag.

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling good?

Today I thought I would do a tag that has been doing the rounds for a little while now and it is a tag of 1 of my favourite make up items: eyeshadow. So, without anymore rambling I will just get started.

1  Favourite drugstore line for eyeshadows?
Oh that has to be Urban Decay, they are just amazing and I lvoe every single 1 of my UD palettes.

2  Favourite eyeshadow primer?
That would have to be Too Faced shadow insurance for me even though I am not the biggest fan of the price but as a eyeshaodw primer, it really is the only 1 that helps to keep my eyeshadow in place and trust me, for me that is extremely difficult.

3 First ever eyeshadow purchase and do you still use it?
I sadly can't remember what brand or shade it was but I do Know that I didnt have a whole bunch of money to spend and would have only been able to afford something fairy cheap. I would have loved MUA or MUR or W7 to have been around when I was younger.
4  Best drugstore eyeshadow dupe?
That would have to be MUA and MUR as they both do phenominal eyehadows and for the price point, it is amazing how they do it.

5  Most underrated (what you hear about the least but love - this includes singles and palettes)?
Oh wow, that is a hard 1 as there are a fair few that are amazing and you don't really hear about, Zoeva, PUR, Art Decco, Inglot, Kiko etc and they really should recieve more love than they do as they are jjust amazing.

6  Favourite single eyeshadow?
That would have to be MUA single eyeshadow in shade 12 pearl as it is a phenominal dupe of an all time favourite eyehadow by MAC: Club.
7 Favourite cream eyeshadow?
I have to say that I don't really use cream eyeshadow and if I do, it is usually in a sctick for, I do love the Rimmel and NYC eyeshadow sticks as they are creamy, easy to blend and last for hours.

8  Favourite neutral eyeshadow?
That would be my whole UD Naked Basics palette, they just are brilliant, I love them and I have nearly hit pan on it so had to go and get a back up already.

9 Favourite coloured eyeshadow?
Again that would have to be a toss up between MAC Club and Wet N Wild penny, they are both stunning and I love to use penny as a blending out clolour, it makes for an interesting eye look I can tell you.
10 Best ever eyeshadow palette?
I will be fair and give my favourite from the drugstore and a high end palette as I think the majority of people will have said a high end palette. I love the Make Up Revolution Iconic Pro palette, it is just amazing and I seriouly can't recommend it highly enough. As for the high end palette I would have to say the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani is my all time favourite palette, even above the naked basics.

I tag everyone who has read this post to have a go, share your love of eyeshadow with the world and I would love for you to leave the link to your tag for me to check out.
