Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share my thoughts on the Clarins natural lip perfector in 01 as, I don't know about you, I sometimes, don't necessarily want to wear a full face of make up and like to keep it natural, especially on those days where all I am doing is doing the school run. On those days, I literally throw on some concealer, mascara, my Laura Geller Balance N Brighten and a lip balm.
In the sales, a good while ago now though, I bought a Clarins lip kit and the instant light was in there which I had been wanted to try for ages but didn't want to pay the £18 and not like it. However, when I tried this for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I actually liked it. It isn't full on colour but a very, very subtle hint of pink, it just gives that little extra oomph to your lips. I don't know if I would purchase this at full price though maybe I would purchase it again in another kit in another colour to see how that looks.
On the website it is described as a textured lip gel but for me anyway, it feels more like a moisturising lip cream, not a gloss by any means but a nice moisturising cream. It also says that you can use it to compliment your lip colour but again, I don't think that works, I tried it and it didn't feel right, it dulled down the colour of my lipstick.
For me, this is a on the fence lip balm (that is how I see it), I do really like it but I really really don't think it is worth £18, especially as No7 have 1 that is very similar BB lips which is literally half the price. Again, I really don't know if I would repurchase this but if I do, I guess you will see it in a future haul.

Freedom Pro Highlight Ambient & Diffused

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?
Today I am going to share with you my thoughts on something that I have been chomping at the bit to tell you about, the Freedom Pro Highlights in the shades Ambient and Diffused available here. I have linked you to Superdrug because they are having a 3for2 at the moment and delivery is free when you spend £10or more, brilliant or what?

I did also have the shade Brighten but sadly it wasn't for me as it was a little too frosty for my tastes and because  of this, I didn't think I would be interested in any of the others.
For a while now I have been seeing various bloggers and vloggers raving about these but I have to see something in the flesh (so to speak) before I go in all guns blazing and buy them, having said that I have been on a bit of a highlighter kick for a fair few months now and I struggle to not just want to buy them all.

On the words of Miss Budget Beauty ((video here,) I think she is 1 of a few youtubers who say it how it is and in a more recent video, her highlighter is literally pretty much used up and is going to get another 1.)) I knew I had to try at least 1 of these but they were never in stock in either of the Superdrugs that sell it near me. So, I took matters into my own hands and ordered these and at £3 each I ordered a couple of the Make Up Revolution highlighters (Freedoms sister brand but more on those in a future post) to try too.
I am completely and utterly in awe at how amazing these 2 actually are, as for £3 I thought they would be super powdery and not really that good but boy did I eat my words. They are the most beautiful highlighters I have ever come across, just stunning. These have become my most used and most loved highlighter that I own since buying them, even over my all time favourite by MAC, Lightscapade.
They are so soft to the touch, it feels like silk, it isn't in the slightest bit powdery and you literally get so much product (7.5g to be exact) that I cant see me using either of them up any time soon.
Ambient gives such a beautiful natural, hint of a highlight that it look like you are literally glowing from within. Diffused is completely different at being more of an intense glow without shimmer or glitter (which I seriously cant stand) which isn't too in your face wither and it is what I am wearing in the pictures.
I absolutely love both of the highlighters and I can't recommend them highly enough and I  think Freedom have pulled it out of the bag for me with these as Ive been feeling a bit meh on most of their products but these are just AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Leighton Denny Nail Polish Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with you a recent Leighton Denny Haul from a nail group on Facebook.
I am a member of a few groups where there are some seriously amazing temptations every day and it is always hard to not be tempted, most of the time I succeed but sadly (or not in this case), I succumbed to Leighton Denny and his very exquisite charms.
I won't go into details about how much I paid as that wouldn't be fair to the lady though I will say, it was a phenomenal bargain and I am super grateful to the lady in question for selling them to me.
Leighton Denny is usually sold for £12 on the Marks & Spencer website (also on John Lewis, Look Fantastic websites LD) and on the QVC UK website where they are always doing amazing deals and can sometimes appear on the TSV (today's special value) where I love to save a pretty penny. I love it when you can get some serious beauties for a fraction of the cost, don't you?

Have you tried LD polishes?
What are your thoughts and do you have any recommendations for me?

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

NOTD: Glitter Babies Someone Like You

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a stunning nail polish by Glitter Babies in the shade SOmeone like you.

When I received this in a swap, I was so excited to wear that I forgot to write about it and let you know how I feel about it. Today is the day that I rectify that. I have to say that it really is 1 of the most stunning nail polishes that I own and wear. I have worn this little beauty so often that I am scared of it literally coming to an end but sadly, I cant find this anywhere to buy and need it in my life.
It was opaque in 2 coats, applied beautifully with no streaking or patchiness. The formula is fantastic and made me go out and grab a couple more to add to my collection.
If you can get your hands on this little beauty I highly recommend that you do, it really is that stunning. I just love it and cant recommend it highly enough.

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

the shopaholic tag

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?
I am so sorry that I have been absent for so long but for nearly a month, life has literally just got in the way. Either I was ill or my little girl was ill, or I just ran out of time to do any writing. I hope that you can forgive me for not being around with my regular posting and can continue to read what I have to say?
Anyway, enough about me and my rambling, I thought I would start off with something a little simple for me to ease myself back into the swing of things by doing the shopaholic tag. I hope that you enjoy.
1  Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
I think it could be a distinct possibility as I think I enjoy the rush of buying something than the item itself if that makes sense? I have bought something that I have not needed or wanted and I have tried my hardest to not cave in but when the rush hits you, I seriously can't say no.

2 How would you class your style?
I think my style is feminine casual. I love to be comfortable but I also like to fell & look nice with mixing a chiffon/floral top with jeans. Simple really.

3 What shop can you not leave without buying at least 1 item?
Oh dear, I think that would have to be TK Maxx as I find that it has such a variety and I can always find something exciting for little expense.
4 Where do you find the bet deals?
I think it depends what I am searching for really but I rarely come out of TK Maxx without something or if online it has to be Fragrance Direct as it sells OPI, Orly, Nails Inc & Essie nail polish for extremely cheap prices. Love it.
5 What designer are you willing to splurge for?
That is an easy 1 for me, I have no issues of paying splurge prices on foundation, BB creams etc as they set the the tone of how my make up looks, it can make a look look amazing or terrible. My all time favourite is the Estee Lauder doublewear light, its phenomenal.
6 Do you have a go to shopping outfit?
I always go for either legging's with a long chiffon top & boots or skinny jeans with a girly top & ballet pumps, comfy is the way to go.
7 What is your guilty pleasure (apart from make up)?
I have to say nail polish as it can change my mood for being down to excited within a matter of seconds.
8 What is the 1 staple clothing piece you cannot live without?
Leggings as they are just so unbelievably versatile, I can't live without them.

9 What is a trend that you hope never goes out of style?
Leggings with knee high boots, I think is classic and looks amazing on anyone and everyone.

10 What trend did you love that passed too quickly?
In all fairness, I don't really follow trends, never have and don't think I ever will. I dress to what suits my body, my style and what I like and if it turns out to be trendy, then fair enough I just don't follow trends.
11 Who is your fashion icon?
The old Hollywood greats like Marylin Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day, Sophia Loren. They had such amazing style, classic and timeless. Just absolutely breathtaking.

I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did writing it and I tag everyone who is reading it to have a go. Why not? What have you got
to lose and you may even enjoy it.

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Dupe Feat Make Up Revolution I love Chocolate

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I am going to share with you a fantastic dupe from the I <3 make up line of Make Up Revolution: the I heart chocolate palette. The I heart chocolate palette is a dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and what a booming phenomenal dupe it is.
I bought this palette before I even thought of investing the the Too Faced chocolate bar palette, I loved it well before the Too Faced one to the point where I didn't even consider buying the Too Faced one...that is how good it is. For the full on review of the MUR palette I did last year, please read it here, it will tell you why I love this palette and the brand so much.
The eyeshadows are so close in shades, it is 99.5% accurate. I just think that it is phenomenal and would recommend it to anyone.

If you was considering buying the Too Faced chocolate bar palette, I think this is 1 that you could skip and invest in the MUR version, especially at £7.99 a pop compared to the Too Faced palette for  £37, I would definitely go for the MUR palette.
