Back to Mac Lipstick Haul Lovelorn, Hot gossip & Fanfare

Hello lovely ladies,
how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well.
This is going to be about my recent Back to MAC Haul and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed swatching all of their pretty lipsticks.
How back to MAC works:
You return 6 empty containers of their primary packaging eg lipstick, eyeshadow (black casing), blushers, foundations, fix+ etc, in exchange for 1 lipstick. The maximum lipsticks you can claim is 4 lipsticks.
As you can see from the picture's below, I returned enough empty packaging for 3 lipsticks: Hot gossip (cremesheen formula), Lovelorn (lustre) and Fanfare (cremesheen).
I am absolutely addicted to MAC lipsticks and I have a few in my collection but will always look to be adding more. I look forward to when I am able to purchase a new lipstick and take great pleasure in visiting my local MAC store for a good old swatching session.
How about you?
Have you tried MAC lipsticks?
If so, which is your favourite?
Are there any that you would recommend?

I guess it is that time again where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

Essence all eyes on me waterproof mascara

Hello ladies.
How are you all doing? I hope you are keeping well?
This post is a review of the Essence all eyes on me waterproof mascara and I will let you know how I feel about it in a mo. First I will tell you a little about what I expect  in a mascara as everyone is different, I have very sensitive eyes that are prone to tearing up and swelling to the point where I need to visit the doctors or hospital so, I need to be careful with eye make up especially mascara's.
I like a good lengthening mascara that does not transfer to my hooded eyes though I don't mind a bit of volume, I much prefer a much more natural approach with my lashes.
The formula is not overly wet and not overly dry, more like something in-between which can be a good thing. I do like the formula as it is easy to work with and I do like the brush which is not too big.
It is a very waterproof formula but definately not smudgeproof which is a must in the hot weather we have been having and that dreaded perspiration that we all suffer from.
On the whole, I do like this mascara and would buy again but only for the Autumn/winter seasons as it is great for those colder/wet months.
What about you?
Have you tried any Essence mascara's and what do you think? Please leave recommendations in the comments section below as I would love to hear from you.

Wilkos Rhubarb soap: wba as this just smells divine.
Bodyshop Baniall hand soap: wba as this is just blooming heavenly.
Blend bath oil: wba as this is fantastic if you have dry skin.
boots foaming bath salts: Wnba as you can buy cheaper alternatives and was a little disappointed as had to add bubble bath to give bubbles.
Avon Bubble bath: wnba as Avon pay outside companies to test on animals.
Wilko own brand toothpaste: wba as this is a fantastic sensitive toothpaste

VO5 moulding wax: wnba as this is just plain and simple rubbish.
Dove hair & oil mask: wnba as this did nothing for my hair.
SO? dry shampoo: would never in a million years ever buy this again. It stank to high heaven of baby sick.
Superdrug conditioner: wba as this is just a lovely conditioner

Sanctuary bath soak :wnba as I just did not rate this, I got 1 bath out of this bottle when i was hoping for at least 2. Strawberry body polish: wba as this is just lovely.
Loverdose body lotion: wnba as this stung like crazy.
Benefit eye cream: wnba as there are cheaper alternatives that do the same job and some that do it better.
Philosophy 3 in 1 bath, shampoo shower gel: wnba as I was not impressed, there are better cheaper alternatives.
Benefit eye cream: as above.
Scented oil burner: wba as it was a nice scent.
Bodyshop choc shower gel: wba as Bethany adores this and it lasted a blooming good while.

Paul Smilth extreme perfume: wnba as this is a little sweet, much prefer the original.
Olay eye cream: wnba as this just didn't do anything for me.
No7 toner: wba as this is the best toner on the market for me.
Nail polish remover: wba as this si a great remover.

Laura Mercier lip velvet: wnba as these dry out way too quickly for my liking.
Essence waterproof mascara: wba as this is a great mascara.
Essence concealer: wnba as I'm allergic to this sadly.
No7 palette: Wnba as these are just too powdery. I only used a couple of the eyeshadows and won't use any of the others.

The Balm apples lip & cheek stain: wnba as not overly impressed.
Rimmel scandal eyes eyeshadow chubby stick : wnba as this dried out quickly.
Maybeline fit me concealer: wnba as I'm allergic to this and stung like crazy.
Nars highlighter: Wnba as too expensive but it is lovely.
17 Instant glow: wnba as too glittery or me.
Elf lash & brow gel: wba as it does the job.
Essence mascara: wnba as this stung my eye but it did give lovely lashes.
Elf eyeshadow palette: wnba as way too powdery for me

T-Zone bb cream: WNBA  for 3 reasons, it stung my face, it was too runny and I needed to put on 3 layers to know it was there.
No7 BB cream: wba and I always will as this is the best bb cream on the market (for me anyway hehe) I already have a back up but am using up a few other foundations and bb creams up before i can get onto that sexy beast
Maybeline affinity whatever the heck its called (LMAO): wnba as this is just coloured water.
Bourgois 10 Hour sleep effect foundation: WNBA as im just binning this. Its very very runny, no coverage in the slightest and the shade is way too pale even at my palest. Not the worst foundation but not the best either.
17 stay in place concealer: Wba nonly for the fact that when it works it works really well. I can only wear it with particular foundations/bb creams and it can be a bit irritating to my eyes. I would not recommend if you have really bad sensitive eyes.
Bourjois powder: wba when I have finished all my other powders lol. Its a nice powder but doesn't have the longevity I would have liked.

17 bb cream: Wba as this was so light & creamy, gave a beautiful glow to the skin. Love it.
Bodyshop Vit C serum: Wba as this is a beautiful primer and left my skin silky soft.
Yankee tart lemon lavender: Wba as this was a stunning scent and lasted a long time.
Elf Mineral glosses: Wba a these were lovely not too sticky and lasted a while.
Just remember that life i short, enjoy it and love one another

Until the next time,

Boots, Superdrug and Wilko's nail haul

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all well.

I have recently been enjoying painting my nails a lot more than I usually do. I am that lass who is very lazy with my nails, I usually like a 2 coat job that dries extremely quickly, put on a top coat and then I'm good to go. I usually leave it then for a few days before I take the polish off and I don't repaint them for a week or so.
However, I am really loving the Autumn shades and darker shades of late, which means I am painting my nails every day. I am enjoying it more than my make up which is a big deal for me.
You will be seeing a good few nail purchases over the coming weeks from the past month and I also have 2  more hauls that are yet to arrive.
I am on the search for the perfect red/black, purple and burgundy/wine nail polish and these are my latest purchases to check out. Though I have not had a chance to try them as yet, I will be doing in the next couple of weeks as I have a good few to test out :D
So, on with what I purchased for today:
They are Collection 60 seconds hot looks in the shade
61 Twilight which I managed to get for 50p, Little Mix by Collection in the shade Perrie's Collection and Barry m in the shade 115 in red black.

What do you think? Have you tried these polishes before and what are your thoughts? Do you have any recommendations?
I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye.
Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

Meet my gorgeous Shih Tzu "Bubbles"

Hello lovelies,
I hope you are all well and feeling OK?
I am not sure whether you would be interested in this sort of post but I thought I would introduce you to my gorgeous little Bubbles. She is a Shih Tzu and is now 12 weeks old, she has literally had her first day out today after not being able to leave the house because of her first & second injections. She was such a brave little lass and didn't really flinch on the second needle but was more interested in the treat that the nurse had lol.
She is only small and easily get's lost in tall grass and is completely in love with any and all of my shoes.
The little jumper that she is wearing was given to her as a present by a friend but can be purchased on Amazon here and Bubbles absolutely loves it.
Let me know if you would like to see Bubbles out and about on her adventure's and I will start a series of her  growing up.

I guess it is that time of day where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss in Coral Delight & True Love

 Hello lovely ladies,
how are you doing? I hope you are all well and loving the gorgeous weather we are having lately? I know I am.
I am going to be doing  a quick review on Essence triple x lip glosses that are now available in Wilko's online here and in store for £2.30 each. The shades I have for review are number 2 coral delight in the log lasting formula and number 15 True love in the triple x shine formula.
Coral delight is a gorgeous coral with a lovely pigmented formula that contains small glitter particles, however, the glitter does not show up too much on the lips which I am extremely grateful for. There isn't an overly strong scent if any which sometimes, can be a good thing. Sadly, it doesn't last as long as I would have liked but for £2.30 I can't really complain.
True love is a beautiful raspberry shade which is sheer and  I don't mind that at all, though strangely enough, it is extremely pigmented on the lips. The shine really does make your lips stand out more than normal so, if you don't want your lips to shine like the stars, then this is definately not for you.
Have you tried any essence products lately? What do you think of them and do you have a favourite?
That is it for this review and I will see you again soon.
I guess it is that time again where I have to say goodbye. Until the next time, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

MAC MSF Brunette Dupe

Hello lovelies and welcome to my first ever post and what a post it is going to be.
A dupe for the MAC mineralise skin finish in the shade brunette which you can sadly, no longer get from the MAC shop or online. However, I have found and almost identical dupe in the form of Elf's (eye's lips face) baked blusher in the shade passion pink and you can get that here
As you can see from the picture's that brunette does have a little glitter which does not transfer to the skin. However, it is definately NOT a highlighter but is a gorgeous blusher. The Elf blusher does not have any glitter but does have a lovely sheen and you do not need a highlighter when wearing this. I highly recommend the Elf baked blushers as they are all just as lovely as the passion pink.

Do you own Brunette or passion pink? What are your thoughts and what other blushers would you recommend?
So for now ladies, that is it until the next post. I hope you enjoyed it and let me know what you would like to see in future posts, please leave your comments below. Until the next time, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Bubbles Weekly Adventure's

Hello my lovelies,
I hope you are all well and not finding it too cold.

This week Bubbles had a visit to the vets for a check up, just to see how she is doing as she has been a little under the weather. She got the all clear and is back to  her happy self.
I took her to the local woodland as she wasn't really allowed out for a couple of days as she has been a little under the weather. How she loved those leaves, she chased them when the wind blew them in all directions.  She was even burying herself in them and enjoying exploring the wriggly worms and creepy crawlies she found lol.
She is now at the stage where she is teething and is chewing everything in site and that includes fingers and toes, mainly my toes though. I have found 1 of my slippers and 1 of my shoes in the garden where she snuk them out. Hmmm, I must admit that I was not amused, I really love those slippers lol.
I also took her to the park for the first time too for her socialisation with other dogs and children, she is just used to being walked though the common for an hour a day.
She is absolutely adored by everyone she meets.
A true little tinker.

I guess it is that time again where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

ELF Haul

Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are all keeping all toastie and warm on this cold Autumn day.

I thought I would share with you my recent Elf purchases and show you the pretties that I have been wanting to try for a while now.
As a budget friendly brand, Elf have some fantastic products for very little money even when they are not have 1 of their many amazing offers.
I did get this lovely little lot when they had their 40% off a couple of months ago and have only just got around to checking this lot out. I know, absolutely terrible, though I do have a good reason for it and that is that I am currently redecorating through the house and this just got put to 1 side when it came through. Again, absolutely terrible.
So, onto the pretties that I bought:

Have you purchased anything from the Elf website yet?
What are your thoughts on them and do you have a favourite? I would love to hear from you.
It is that time were I have to say goodbye. Until the next time, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and have fun.
