NOTD: Orly Fowl Play

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you my NOTD featuring Orly's Fowl Play. I blooming love this beauty. So much so that I have gone out and purchased it again. I love it that much. Anyway, why do I love it so much? Just look at it lol, it is stunning. No, seriously, the formula is fantastic, literally opaque in 1 coat and that is hard on my nails. It didn't chip for 3 days straight on me, and trust me, my nails are a nightmare to keep nail polish on and 3 days is phenomenal. I highly recommend this beauty.

It is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Nail Mail

Hello there my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are well?

I thought I would share with you a very quick nail haul that I received in time for Christmas but completely forgot to take picture's. DOH.
As you can see, there are alot of nail polishes for me to look forward to experimenting and playing with. There were a couple that aren't useable as they had either dried out or were so thick that they are on the verge of drying out.I have managed to save a couple of them but sadly, I did have to bin a couple of them which has made me sad as I did pay for them but there were a few extras that made up for it.
I have since tried some of these and boy, am I in love with a good few of them. So exciting to get some sexy nail action going on hehehe. There are going to be some seriously sexy NOTD posts in the not too distant future I can tell you.

February Empties

 Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you my February favourites in this post and share with you my thoughts on each item, whether I would buy them again or not. SO on with the show so to speak.

No7 Gentle toner: Wba as this is now my go to toner, I just love it.
Loreal code jeaunesse serum: Wba as this helped to moisturise my skin and I just loved how soft my skin was after I used this.
Lacura Night cream: Wba as this was just fantastic. It hydrated and moisturised like nothing else I have tried, a defo repurchase for me.
Lacura day cream: Wba though I didn't love this as much as the night cream, this was still lovely and moisturising.
Poundland argon oil night serum: Wnba even though this is my second bottle, I just couldn't make my mind up and to be fair, I still can't so probably would not buy again for that very reason.

Wilko deoderant: Wba as this did the job and was inexpensive.
Eucerine dry skin cream: Wba if on offer as this is very very expensive. Having said that, I do think it is worth the hefty price tag as it did not irritate my flare up of eczema, same for my little girl.
Avon sss hand cream: Wnba as  it was not great and left my hands greasy even though my hands were dry.
Superdrug Vit E hot cloth cleanser: Wba and I have on many occasions, I love this over the Liz Earle version (not a fan of that sadly).

Dove shower gel: Wba as this lathers up a treat and leaves your skin feeling soft. Gorgeous.
Deep heat foam bath: Wnba as this was a waste of money. It did nothing for my painful shoulders and it did not foam up that much. I used the bottle on 2 baths. Not good.
Radox muscle therapy bubble bath: Wba as this is fab, much prefer it to the deep heat version.

Head & Shoulders scalp care: Wnba as there was no difference to my dry & irritated scalp. Not worth the money.
Trevor Sorbet Shampoo: Wnba as its just terrible and dried out my hair.
Trevor Sorbet conditioner: Wnba as this also did nothing for my hair.
Simple under-eye roll on: Wba as this refreshed my eyes when they were tired or feeling irritated.
Mountain Dew lip balm: Wba as this was lovely and tasted & smelled divine.

Tesco baby wipes: Wba as these are great for removing swatches from your hands.
Wilko face wipes: Wba as these are also good for removing swatches from your hands.
Wilko bit cotton pads: Wba as these are fantastic at removing glitter nail polish.
Kleenex eye make up wipes: Wba as these are fab, love these.
Skin therapy facial wipes: Wba as these remove make up without causing irritation, lovely and moist.

Osiris nail polish remover: Wba as this is gentle on the nails when removing polish. Love it.
Pure candles: Wnba as these don't last long and the scent was not that strong.
Perfume sample: wnba as this was a terrible scent on me.
Diesal loverdose: wba as this was lovely and I could not get enough of it.

Maybelline colossal mascara: Wba as this is just blooming fantastic. It gives such amazing length and volume that Iwent out and bought it again the day after I first used it. LOVE
George lash extend waterproof mascara: Wnba as this is extremely wet and irritated my eyes like crazy.
Make up Revolution eye primer: Wnba as this also irritated my eyes.
Leighton Denny nail repair polish: Wba as this repaired my peeling and flimsy nails within a week. Happy with this beauty.
Bodyshop cranberry tinted lip balm: Wba as this is just stunning. There is still loads left of this  but I have to put this in the bin as I have had this for over 2 years and I don't want to risk infection. Love this to bits.

It is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Make Up Revolution Matte Single Eyeshadow Review and Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on Make up Revolution@s matte eyeshadow collection. These beauties are available for £1 each or you can buy 6 for £5 on the Revolution website here.
As you can see from the picture that these are super pigmented, I mean scarily pigmented when you consider that these are £1 each. They are buttery soft and wonderfully easy to blend, they make a fair few stunning daytime looks and they can be taken into a the evening with a smokey eye. Love them so much that I hope that they bring out more shades in the future for me to buy. I love matte eyeshadows they are my top favourite eyeshadow finish with pearl and satin coming in a close 2nd and 3rd.
I highly recommend these if you love matte eyeshadows and even the blue, which for me was scary, is stunning used to shade my bottom lash line. Love it. Yet another win for Make up Revolution. Get in.
Have you tried MUR single eyeshadows? Are there any that you think I should try or avoid? I would love to hear from you.

It is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

NOTD: OPI Kiss me I'm Brazillian & Glitter Babies Angels

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on todays NOTD: OPI kiss me I'm Brazillian and  Glitter Babies Angels.
OPI Kiss me I'm Brazillian: this baby has made me fall completely in love all over again with pink nail polish, I was in a rut with pink polishes as I had not wore them really in such a long time. (You will see what I mean in another NOTD post). This was opaque in 1 coat though I did put on 2  for this particular outting and I have to say that I was tempted to not pair it with Angels and wished that I didn't, but more on that in a mo.
Glitter Babies Angels: It is terrible.Oh boy, what can I say about this polish to redeem it? Nada, I hated it with a passion, so much so that it is now residing in the bottom of my bin and I took it off to be replaced with a sexy little number by Sally Hansen.
The consistency is so thick that it was hard to work with, I struggled getting the larger circles out of it. I don't regret purchasing it because at least I have tried this particular polish. You will see in the pics below how bad this polish was, it just reminded me of wallpaper paste. Not a good thing for nail polish sadly.

What I got for Valentines day.

Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I Hope you are well?

I thought I would share with you what I received on Valentines day, something that I have literally been drooling over for nigh on 6 years. I have been driving the poor ladies on the Urban Decay counter in Liverpool and Warrington crazy with my swatching of this palette, I just could not decide whether I wanted it or not. Sad huh? Anyway, thankfully the decision was taken out of my hands when my other half decided enough was enough and put this little beauty in my hands and boy, was I a very happy little bunny. Who needs chocolate (which I also got lol) or flowers? Give your make up addicted lass and make up palette :D
I have used this beauty everyday since receiving it and am I in love? Not 100%, only because that pure unadulterated lust-fest goes to the naked 3 palette (serious hotness there I can tell you) but it really is a very close 99% in the love race hehe.
Do you have this palette? Or any of the other sexy Urban Decay naked trilogy palettes? Which is your favourite, if you can choose just 1?

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Revlon NOTD Revlon Parfumerie Expresso & No7 Disco Ball Review

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all doing well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on 2 nail polishes in this particular NOTD: Revlon Parfumerie in Expresso and No7 in Disco Ball.
I have to say that I have a bit of a love affair atm with the Revlon parfumerie nail polishes, I just love them. They are almost opaque in 1 coat, last ages without chipping and they just smell divine when the polish dries. At £7.99 in Boots I find them to be fairly expensive when you consider that even now, some of these beauties are still turning up in the pound shops. Saying that, Boots do have a good number of shades that haven't been found in the pound shops and I have been tempted to buy a couple of them from Boots because I know just how good they are.
No7 nail polish has been a part of a love/hate relationship I have going on with their nail polish for a good number of years now.  When No7 get the polish formula right, boy is it amazing but then they go and spoil it by putting out some that are just plain old naff, which is rather annoying as they are 1 of my favourite brands out there. I do find that their glitter polishes are 90% brilliant though so you can't go wrong with those really.
Any hoo, onto my thoughts of these particular polishes,  revlon parfumerie on its own for me is a bit dull and desperately needs a little something extra to make it stand out, hence me adding disco ball to the party and boy, what a party it creates.  I definately think these 2 work amazingly well together and I look forward to mixing and  matching these 2 beauties with other polishes from my collection.

Nightly lip care featuring Lush & Maybelline

Hello my lovelies,
How are you? I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you my daily and nightly lip routine. It is important to take care of your lips even more so in the winter as the cold and the dryness from the central heating can seriously damage your lips. There is not much worse than chapped, bleeding lips.
Anyhow, I gently exfoliate the dry skin form my lips using the Lush Lip scrub (I am currently using Bubble Gum) and it does a fantastic job, I can't recommend this beauty highly enough, you can purchase it here. Elf do lip exfoliator and that is also lovely and is slightly cheaper, however, it doesn't last as long and if you would like to try that, it is available here. Myself, I much prefer the Lush version and will continue to be buying this bad boy
When I have finished exfoliating, I am currently using the Maybelline baby lips lip balm. They are currently buy 1 get 1 half price on the Boots website and in store here and at £2.99, they are as cheap as chips. I do like the baby lips but I don't think it is worth the hype that it created before and after they arrive on our British shores. I am not overly keen on the tinted version as I think there are much better versions on the market but I guess not everyone can love everything all of the time.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Ysl Rouge Volupte Shade 13

Hello lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are keeping well.

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the YSL Rouge Volupte in the shade 13. It is a beautiful pink/coral nude that is so creamy soft when applied. It does not stay on all day but that does not concern me as I don't mind reapplying this beauty. There is something very special and luxurious feeling when you apply this. It is just amazing.
Sometimes, when you buy an expensive product the quality of the packaging can be a let down but not with this pretty. It is quite weighty in hand and has a satisfying click when closing the lid. The packaging is stunning and worthy of  being a part of my stash on top of my beauty desk. I love it.
At £25, it is a tad expensive and I rarely buy these, I have 3 in my collection though I don't use them everyday. For a little bit of luxury, I would say definately buy them but otherwise, stay away if you don't want to spend the kind of money you need for these. However, if you do want to try these, they are available on the Debenhams website here. Enjoy.

I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye. Until the next time, remember that life is short, have fun and love one another.

NOTD: Essence Colour & Go and Sparkling Sands

Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are all well.

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a nail polish from a relatively new brand to the UK: Essence Colour & Go  Sparkling sands.
This really is a lovely nail polish, especially as it only costs £1.60 (available here). This is opaque in 2 coats and lasted 4 days without chipping. I can't recommend this nail polish highly enough. I love it. Have you tried any Essence nail polishes? Are there any that you think I should try?

Make Up Revolution Run Boy Run Palette

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all ok.

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Revolution Salvation Palette in Run Boy Run (Available here.) This palette costs just £6 and you get 18 eyeshadows. I know, that is just plain crazy. It works out at 0.34p per eyeshadow. I know right? Insane.
The thing is, for £6 you don't expect too much to be fair and just hope for something to work with but these will blow your mind. Because of this particular palette, I now have 2 and WILL be buying so many more. Why? I will tell you why. These eyeshadows outdo some of my other eyeshadow palettes including New Cid and and Estee Lauder palette I have.
These shadows are super pigmented, buttery soft, blend beautifully and they last amazingly well with eye primer. I just love love love these palettes. I highly recommend this palette to anyone and everyone and look forward to trying out more of the Revolution make up line.
Have you tried any of their palettes? What do you think of them and are there any you would recommend?

pigmentation: BAM

DOUBLE BAM

AND TRIPLE BAM

As you can tell, I love those mattes

NOTD: Sally Hansen 600 White Beaches

Hello lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all well?
I thought I would share a quick NOTD featuring Sally Hansen White Beaches.
I do have to say that this is a very pretty nail polish with tiny glitter pieces though it is of a watery consistency. It was still streaky and patchy even with 2 coats and chipped that same day. I do like Sally Hansen nail polishes but sadly, this is one that just is not the best formula for me.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
