Clarins Lip perfector 01

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?
Today I thought I would share with you a favourite of mine, the Clarins lip perfecter in the shade 01. I have been loving this as part of my no make up make up days, where I am literally just running to the school to drop off or pick up my little girl.
It just feels so good on the lips, though it's not a lip balm, and gives that little something extra ot your lips. No7 do a similar version called the BB lips wich is just as nice and I love that too and is available here for £9 and is always on offer.
At £18, it is a bit on the pricey side and I am not sure I will be buying the full size though it is available in a couple of gift sets on the boots website here for £20 and here for £15 as they have a couple of other trail size make up items for me to sample, I will definately be going for the £20 gift set as I have more than enough mascaras to last a good while.

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

NOTD feat MAC FormIdable

Hello my beautiful ladies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?
I thought I would share with you my thoughts on today's NOTD featuring Mac's formidable.
For the life of me, I could not get it to show up to it's true beautiful glory, it has so many colours running through it not to mention the glitters. Boy oh boy, those glitters really make me want to cry over the prettiness of them. (Yup, I am a tad loony over glittery nail polish). I took so many picture's that I wore down my battery, and when I counted, there was over 100 blooming pictures and these are the ones that showed slightly how stunning it actually is.
It is opaque in 2 coats though I did wear 3 on this particular day for the pictures, there were no streaks, easy to apply and this little bugger, stayed on my nails for 4 whole days. And that, is a mahoosive deal where my nails are concerned.
Have you tried any of the MAC nail polishes? What are your thoughts and do you have any recommendations?

Hello my little beauties,
how are you?
I hope you are all doing very well and looking forward to the Christmas period? I know I am, I seriously can't wait.
Today I thought I would share with you the most stunning nail polish I have wore in such a long time: China Glaze tinsel town. This really is the most stunning polish, it is breath taking. The name alone makes me come over all sill and want to sing xmas songs.
I mean, seriously, just look at it. It is stunning, the black and silver glitter just jumps out at you and gives me goosebumps. Sad, I know but hey, I have to get some enjoyment somewhere ;)
Have you tried any of the China Glaze nail polishes? What are your thoughts? Do you have any recommendations that you think I would love?

Make up Revolution GO! Palette Review & swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing OK?
Today I thought I would share my thoughts on a Make Up Revolution  palette; Go! Palette. This is an easy review for me as I blooming love it, it is brilliant.
Though I do find some of their palettes a little hit & miss, this 1 is amazing and if you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend that you do. I would love to get a back up of it but I don't think it is being made anymore, which is a bit gutting but hey ho, onwards and upwards as they say.
Anyway, on to why I love it so much: the eyeshadows are a tad powdery but that isn't an issue as I just tap off the excess and Bob's your uncle, issue sorted. The pigmentation on everything in this palette is phenomenal, easily blended and you can create so many looks with the eyeshadows, it is unreal. It took me from day to night with no issues and lasted all day and night.
The blusher is stunning, amazingly pigmented though it is easily blended to sheer it out a tad so that you don't have Aunt Sally cheek and it is super soft.
The bronzer I think is a tad too warm and can lead to orange but is lovely as both a blusher and eyeshadow, so that is not an issue.
The main love out of this palette, for me anyway, is the highlighter, it really is the most amazing highlighter I own or have tried (and that is saying something). If MUR ever make this as a single, I will be there with bells on I can tell you.
This palette is fantastic for travel, it doesn't take up very much room, the packaging is sturdy so not much possibility of it breaking unless you are having a really bad day. It has everything you need or could possibly want, so you don't need to take a massive make up bag ( which I end up doing anyway and don't use everything I take) and can take more clothes.
It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.

fotd: too faced, ben nye, urban decay mua revolution loreal, natural Collection mac

Well hello there you little beauties.
How are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share with you my FOTD with a twist, say hello to my little girl Bethany, she wanted to join in with the posing and boy did we have fun.
Loreal Nude foundation in warm Ivory here: Though it seems to be out of stock and I am hoping that it has not been discontiued as I really love this foundation. It is so lightweight that I feel as though I am not wearing make up at all, it is sheer to light coverage (which I like) and lasts for hours. Great at blending, melts into the skin beautifully and gives a beautiful glow without looking like a hot mess. 5/5
Garnier 5 second blur primer here for £9.99: WNBA as I don't think this did very much for my skin though it does sink into my skin I just found it way too greasy for me. 2/5
Too Faced Chocolate bar palette here for £39.99 (though I would search for promotion codes to try and get it cheaper: WBA as this is 1 of my favourite palettes I own, the shadows are so beautiful, soft, serious pigmentation, blend like a dream and that is before I even mention the drool inducing scent of chocolate. Did I mention that the eyeshadows are literally made with cocoa powder? No? Then boy are you in for a treat when you smell this, no seriously, go forth and smell. 5/5
MUA Argon Oil Pro Base Concealer shade fair here for £3: WNBA only because I have concealers that I like  more. This is a lovely concealer though a little sheer but is buildable. It is creamy soft and blends beautifully. 2.5/5
Natural Collection Watergaurd Mascara brown/black here for £1.99: WBA and I already have so many times. This is a phenomenal mascara that gives my lashes extra length, doesn't smudge or flake. And I am not allergic to it. Bonus. 5/5
MAC Archies Girl Blush: WBA if available but sadly this was limited edition and no longer available. This is a blusher and highlighter combined and it gives such a subtle flushed sheen that a seperate highlighter is not needed. 4/5
MUA clear mascara: WNBA as I only use it for my eyebrows and it leaves my brows crunchy. It does nothing whatsoever for them. Sorry but not even going to recommend. 0/5
MAC lipstick Creme Cup here for £15.50: WBA and I have a few times as this is 1 of my most worn lipsticks. It is just a beautiful everyday nude. I love it. 5/5
Ben Nye Luxury Loose Powder in Buff here for £12.95 for a massive 42grams: WBA and I am very close to having to repurchase it. It is bloody brilliant. It is so finely milled that you literally can barely feel it when you touch it. It lasts so long and helps to keep my oil free all day. Highly recommend. 5/5
Urban Decay Original eyeshadow primer here for £8 for the travel size: WNBA only because I want to get the anti ageing primer as it really is amazing. Don't get me wrong this was the best eye primer I have ever used, right up until I tried the anti ageing version which knocked it off its very high pedestal. 4/5
Have you tried any of the make up products I have used today?
What are your thoughts on them?
Do you have any recommendations for me to try?

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Skin care: night time edition part 2

Hello llovelies, how are we all doing?
I hope you are all doing okk?

Anyway, back to the post I am chatting about today, my night time skin care routine. As you will already know from part 1, I have combination skin with sensitive eyes which causes no end of problems with finding the right skincare. So here is what I am currently using with my thoughts, reviews and marks out of 5 for you.
Night time skincare:
Soap & Glory Peaches & clean: I really really hate the smell of this but love how it leaves my skin so soft after cleaning my face with it. I do have a back up that was sent to me in a swap I did last year but I am unsure whether I would buy this again or not, I hate the smell that much 3/5
Weleda night cream: OH MY GOD do I love this or what? LOVE LOVE LOVE 10/5
Athena facial wipes: these are for those lazy days and I think we all have those done we hehehe. I am not a fan of the scent but they are an ok face wipe and I would repurchase them. 3/5
Kleenex eye make up remover cloths: LOVE these, so soft, the scent isn't unbearable and have repurchased these a number of times 4/5
Bodyshop Aloe toner: (when I am not using this 1 I use either Boots on brand cucumber toner or the Bodyshop cucumber toner) I do like this, it is very gentle on my sensitive skin but hardy enough to remove any last traces of dirt. 4/5
Dr Nick Lowe eye gel:  I don't mind it as a hydrating eye cream but to say it prevents dark circles and helps reduce fine lines is a tad too far so I will only be giving this a 2/5 for the misleading quotes.
Elf lip balm tint: I say to myself that i don't like this product and yet I find myself using this all of the time and currently placed another order with Elf and bought the nude 1 of this, so I get the feeling I actually like it. 4/5

small essence haul

Hello my beauties, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you a small Essence haul from their new Autumn/ Winter releases.
I only picked up 2 products, 1 being a blusher in the shade 20 berry me up and a lip gloss in the shade 03 almost real as nothing else took my fancy. Having said that, I may get another couple of the matt blushers as I am always interested in matt blushers and I am loving natural shades.

So there you have it, a couple of pretty nude essence make up bits that I have bought recently. I do have to say that I am a big fan of essence blushers, mascaras and glosses, they are amongst my favourites by them along with lipsticks and nail polishes.
Have you tried anything from the essence line? Is there anything that you think I should try?

Skin care: day time part 1

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all well?
I must say that I find it difficult finding the right skincare for me as I have combination skin and my eyes are very sensitive. My eyes are that sensitive they can swell up so much that I have to go to the hospital and it is not nice I can tell you. Anyway, enough about yukky eyes and visits to the hospital, let me tell you about the skin care I am currently using for the morning routine:
I use ROC foaming cleansing mousse which really doesn't dry out my skin and isn't too bad on the sensitive side but can sting a little if my skin has dried out. 4/5
Bodyshop Vitamin e moisture cream: I do like this alot but only hydrates my skin for a short time but would be fantastic if you have normal skin 3/5
Bodyshop Vitamins c serum: I absolutely love this, it smooths my skin adds extra moisture and is a make up primer too. 5/5
Loccitane face mist:I use this 1 if i am not going to be wearing any make up to give my skin a little boost. Love it 5/5
Elf set & mist spray: I use this 1 when I am wearing make up, I'm not sure if it makes my make up last any longer but it is lovely as an extra moisture boost. Love this too. 5/5
Elf lip balm tint: I say to myself that i don't like this product and yet I find myself using this all of the time and currently placed another order with Elf and bought the nude 1 of this, so I get the feeling I actually like it. 4/5
So what skin care do you use and would you recommend it?
That is it for now ladies, until the next time. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Poundworld haul Feat Wet N Wild, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Rimmel Maybelline

Hello my beautiful ladies, how are you?
I hope you are feeling wonderful?

Today I thought I would share a recent trip I took into the world that is Poundworld. I do love a bit of Poundworld action don't you?
I wasn't expecting to buy anything beauty related as I only went in to pick up some crafty items for my little girl but then, I saw Wet N Wild and I let out a little WOOP WOOP. I was gobsmacked in all honesty. I never thought I would see Wet N Wild in dear old Blighty that isn't on Ebay or Amazon at extortionate prices. And yes, there were a few Cover Girl items in there too.How could I not take these little beauties home with me?

Have you seen any of these sexy little bargains?
Did you pick any of them up?
I would love to hear what you bought?

Maybelline fit me powder 125 review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?
Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Maybelline fit me powder in the shade 125. This is such a soft & silky powder and does work well for a short space of time as it does not lock my foundation into place having said that, it does keep me oil free for a couple of hours without having to reapply. I do like the packaging, it looks good, is very sturdy and I love the mirror that is inside its own little compartment.
I have heard good things about this powder which made me want to try it but, for me anyway, it is just an OK powder, it isn't anything special. For me, it didn't work though I have combination skin and it is a little harder to control, I would recommend it for ladies with a normal to dry skin. You can try it here for £5.99 from the Boots website.

Until the next time,

TMI Tag

The TMI Tag xxxx

Hello ladies, how are you all this fine and beautiful day? I don't know about you, but I am seriously loving this gorgeous weather, it makes me feel so good and as though I can take on the world. I hope that it makes you feel that way too.

I was tagged in this post a good while ago now and thought I would have ago at this. It is definitely a challenge as some of the questions can provoke extremely personal answers. I am definitely wary of this but I will be very honest in my answers.

What are you wearing?
Denim shorts and a British bulldog t shirt.

Ever been in love?
Yes and it is the best feeling you can ever imagine.

Ever had a terrible breakup?
Luckily I haven't and I am truly thankful for that.

How tall are you?
I am a very small at just 5ft but I don't actually mind being short, though I do find people think that I am a soft touch because of the lack of height. They soon find out I'm not that soft lol.

How much do you weigh?
Way too much.

Any tattoos?
Yes, I have 2. 1 on my left wrist which represents my family and 1 on my shoulder of my little girl's name.

Any Piercings?
Yes, just my ears but I did have my eyebrow pierced when I was younger but my body rejected it.

OTP? (1 true pairing)
A bacon sarnie with HP sauce or Rhubarb crumble and custard. What else can I say?

Favourite Show?
The Walking Dead. Blooming love that show.

Favourite Bands?
Nickleback and Linkin Park. I also love a bit of Pink too.

Something you miss?
My mum who passed away just over a year ago and I miss her terribly.

Favourite Song?
I have 2 that I adore equally but for very different reasons. In the end by Linkin Park and Pink's who knew.

How old are you?
I am 40 and feeling fabulous.

What do you look for in a partner?
Honesty, trust, integrity, kindness is a must and loyalty.

Favourite quote?
The light at the end of the tunnel is an on coming train. Very apt for my life lol

Favourite actor?
I love Liam Neeson, Susan Sarandon and Tom Hanks

Favourite colour?
Red and green.

Loud music or soft?
This depends on my mood really but mostly loud music.

Where do you go when you're sad?
I usually just go into my bedroom and just let it all out.

How long does it take you to shower?
I don't have  a shower in my house, so it is just baths for me. They can be as quick as 5 minutes or as long as an hour.

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
20 minutes if I don't have to do my hair or 30 minutes if I do. My hair is so long and thick now, that if I wash it the night before, it can still be wet when I wake up.
Have you ever been in a physical fight?
Sadly, I have and too many to count. Fighting is never the right answer unless you are defending yourself.

Turn on?
Someone who can make me laugh and honesty.

Turn off's?
Arrogance, liar's, rudeness, bullies and people who think they are better than you. There is no need for any of these. Treat people how you want to be treated.

The reason I started a blog?
I am very opinionated and I do like to have a good old natter when it comes to products I have tried and wanted to pass on my thoughts to as many people as I can reach. If it means that only 1 person actually reads my blog, I am very happy.
Fears?
I'm claustrophobic and have a fear of not being able to touch the floor when swimming.

Last thing that made you cry?
Yesterday as my little girl has been unwell and I hate to see her suffer.

The last time you said you loved someone?
Literally 30 minute's ago to my little girl.

Meaning behind your blog name?
It's the name of the SBJ beauty group I created on Facebook and you can find that here
Last book you read? Sickened: The memoir of a Munchausen by Proxy childhood by Julie Gregory. This is a very harrowing read and broke my heart with every single turn of the page, you can find it on Amazon here

Current book you are reading?
I'm not currently reading a book atm as I rarely have the time.

Game of Throwns. Absolutely brilliant. I am watching it online as I don't watch the TV really.

My brother.

The relationship between you and the last person you texted?
My brother.

Tapas and Indian. They are the most beautiful food to ever be brought into our country and I am extremely grateful for that.

Place you want to visit?
Egypt, Italy, Scotland and Ireland.

Last place you were?

Probably today but hey ho ;)

Favourite flavour of sweet?
I love Jelly Babies. Om nom nom.

What instrument do you play?
I'm not that kind of girl lol.

Favourite piece of jewellery?
I don't really wear jewellery but I would have to say a necklace that I wore of my mums to her funeral. It is very sentimental.

Last sport you played?
Tennis when I was a lot younger and fitter.

Last song you sang?
All fired up by Pat Benatar. Love that song too.

Favourite chat up line?
Are you tired? You have been running through my mind all day lol

Have you ever used it?
Erm no. Its just hilarious that chat up line's exist lol.

Last time you hung out with someone?
Today with my little girl watching Happy Feet and The Croods
