NOTD: WET N WILD Lac My Mani & Sally Hansen 115 Silver Anniversary

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with you what I am wearing on my nails: Wet N Wild's lac my mani with Sally Hansen silver anniversay as a topper. I just love it I have to say and I am looking forward to wearing this again.
The Wet N Wild polish is opaque in 2 coats and has such a lovely formula with no streaks. It applied so nicely and has a lovely wide, 1 stroke brush, so easy to use. I did chip the polish on my ring finger but that was my fault, I didn't wait long enough for it to dry before I went and did the dishes. Doh.
The Sally Hansen polish is, a always, a gorgeous formula with a fair few silver glitter pieces that you don't have to go digging around for. I have a fair few Sally Hansen polishes whether toppers or solid colours and I rarely dislike any, they are up there with my favourite brands Nails Inc and OPI.

Freedom Pro Studio Priming Water

Hallo my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Freedom priming water.
I have to say that as a primer, I don't think it can beat my Nspa, however, what I do use this for is a pre-treatment before my primer and it really does work a treat. I spray this straight after my moisturiser to prep the skin, it gives it that extra va va voom (and it also helps to wake me up too), I then apply primer and let it sink in. Once the primer has sunk into my skin and does what it  needs to do, I then apply my everyday make up. Done.
The smell to this is gorgeous, it reminds me of marzipan and makes me want to eat it lol. Ignoring the fact that this smells absolutely divine, do I actually like it and would I repurchase? In a word (or 2) hell yes. I love it :D

NOTD: Maybelline 235 Red Excess

Hello my  lovelies, how are  you?
I hope you are all feeling well and looking forward to having a stunning Spring that I am positive we are going to have :D
Today I thought I would share with you todays NOTD featuring Maybelline Colour show crystalize in the shade 235 Red Excess.
What can I say about this polish other than WOW! I now have a few of these little beauties and not 1 of them has let me down, they are stunning on the nails. Don't get me wrong, it looks lovely in the bottle and the pictures but they till aren't doing this little beauty any justice whatsoever.
It is opaque in just 1 coat though I like to apply 2 as it is a habit I just cant shake, it doesn't apply streaky and is a dream to to apply with the lovely brush that it has.
These polishes are always turning up in the Poundshops and I am always on the look out for other shades that I don't have, I love these that I would like to get as many as I can (well, that I like the look of anyway). I know they are available in Boots & Superdrug but I would sooner get them from the Poundshops, I  mean, why pay a fiver when you can get 5 of them for the same price? To me, that is just crazy thinking.
Have you tried the Maybelline nail polishes? What are your thoughts? Do you have any recommendations that you think I would enjoy?

Freedom Pro 12 Secret Rose Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Freedom Pro 12 palette in Secret Rose  here for £4.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is just amazing and I can't find any fault with it at all. 10/10

Formula: There are a couple that are so soft that it causes way too much fall out and there are others that are just powdery. 5/10

Travel Friendly: Yes & no. It is small enough to fit in my make up bag but I feel it isn't sturdy enough to handle any knocks or any drops that may (and have) occurred. 6/10
Longevity: This is where this beauty comes into it's own, it literally lasted over 8 hours before it started to fade (and that was without primer). LOVE! 10/10

Blendibility: Just brilliant. Again I can't find anything to fault on this one. 10/10

Versatility: Shade range is pretty good though, for me, 9 out of the 12 shadows were either crease or outer v shades, not enough blending or lid shades. 8/10

Packaging: It feels sturdy when it is closed though it feels flimsy when I open it, other than that, there is nothing wrong with it. 7/10

Quality: I struggle to say anything negative on the £4 range of palettes because, seriously, for the price, they go above and beyond what you want and need from them. So what, they are powdery but that is neither here nor there as again, they more than do the job. They quality for the price is brilliant. 10/10

Value: Seriously? Just AMAZING!!!!!! 10/10

Overall: I really can't recommend the Freedom palettes enough, they are phenomenal and think everyone should try them. No, they are nothing like the higher end palettes but isn't that what you pay the big bucks for? Seriously, for the price you pay for these palettes, they really are outstanding, highly highly recommend these bad boys to everyone. 10/10

So, overall this palette has scored a pretty damn good 70/90 which is pretty good I can tell you. It can hold its head high amongst the big boys in the palette world and I have a fair few of those too. Live the Freedom palettes. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my high end palettes and use them nigh on everyday but every now and then I do reach for my budget palettes and I seriously enjoy them just as much.

NOTD: Butter London The Black Knight

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share with  you what I am wearing on my nails today: Butter London in the shade The Black Knight.
I don't know if you have caught on yet but my favourite kind of nail polish is dark, the darker the better but I do like a little bit of something extra whether it be holos, glitter or special effects to add that little something extra. However, every now and then I like to just paint and go, this is 1 of those polishes where I can do that, 2 coats and I'm out the door (ish, I do apply a top coat too).
I love this polish and wear it so much that I am afraid I may actually finish the bottle and that is difficult to do when you have as many polishes as all of us polish addicts have.
I do like to mix it up every now and then and wear a nude with a bit of glitter or a lovely pink though rarely wear anything neon or bright. Having said that, a friend of mine has literally took me out of my comfort zone and sent me some serious neon polishes that I am looking into wearing but I'm not sure how yet as it blooming terrifies me like you wouldn't believe.
I have been trying them with toppers to see how I can wear them and I am still trying to find the perfect ones to go with them but don't worry, I will be rocking them in the not too distant future.
Wow, that was a heck of a ramble about not very much lol. Anyway, what do I think about Black Knight? I think it is blooming amazing, it wears for 3 days on my nails, applies beautifully with no streaking and is opaque in 2 coats. Highly recommend.

Illamasqua Katie & Ambition Blush Haul & Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing ok after the christmas craziness?

Today I thought I would share with you a recent purchasse from the Illamasqua sale. I have to say that I do love the Illamasqua blushers and fell in love with this little palette when I first saw it but just could not bring myself to pay the £22.50 for it but defiantely took advantage when I saw it was in the sale for £10.40.
Well, now that this is a little ate in going out I thought I would turn it into a review as well as a haul as I have used this little beauty a fair bit and can definately tell you what I think of it. I can honestly say that it isn't going to be my all time favourite, having said that it really is beautiful. Katie perfect for the warmer months as it is more bubblegum pink and would look amazing on my tanned skin. Katie is super pigmented, long lasting and so soft to the touch and will definately wear this over and over in the warmer months.

Ambition is a completely different story for me as it has glitter which made me realise that it is not a blush I would wear for that very reason, I just cant wear glitter on my face, it highlights all of my imperctions and we cant have that now can we? I have wore it a few time so that I can gauge what it is like for you lovely ladies who will want to try it for yourselves. It really is a beautiful blush and would have been rocking this everyday but for the glitter, the pigmentation is ust breathtaking, the smoothness is out of this world and I find there is nothing else out there that comes close to the feel of the Illamasqua blushers. Ambition wore all day on me with no patchiness or no wearing off.
Katie top Ambition bottom.
If you would like to try this little beauty for yourself, you can take a look at this and a few of the others they have here for £22.50. I know I have my eye on the Lover/Hussy combo as it is just stunning and would be amazing all year round.

Have you tried any of the Illamasqua blushers? What are your thoughts and do you have any recommendations that you think I should try?

NOTD feat Zoya Bar & Freedom 403

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

Can you believe we are in March already? How insane is that when we have literally just got Christmas over with? Insane.
Anyhoo, enough of my rambling and on with what I think is such an amazing pairing that I had it on my nail for 2 weeks straight (when it started to chip I did take it off and reapply). I find myself falling completely in love with the glitter polish over nude nails ATM as for me, it is a little bit of glamour for the everyday and it looks so elegant to boot.
I am so utterly impressed with the Freedom nail polishes, the brush is nice and wide, the formula is literally perfect, glides on without any streaking or patchiness and I now own a few of them on the back of this little beauty. The polishes themselves are a £1 and for the price, they are up there in with the big boys OPI, China Glaze, Essie and if you would like to check them out for yourselves you can here. And if that wasn't enough, Beauty Crowd has a 50% off site wide so you could literally get them for 50p each. Bargain central if you ask me.
The Zoya polish is just breathtaking, I mean seriously just look at it. I have worn this beauty on its own, as an accent nail, matted down and like today, as a topper and no matter what, it is just beautiful. You can get your hands on this prettiness here for £8.95, I highly recommend that you do, I just can't say enough about it. I love it so much.

Benfit Rockateur Blusher Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

I cant believe we are in March already, it is just going by so blooming fast and as if that wasn't bad enough, there was snow yesterday, can you Adam and eve it? Ridiculous I can tell you, I was looking forward to the summer and then was hit in the face by snow lol. Ah well, I suppose I do live in Britain.
Anyhoooo, today I am shoring with you my thoughts on a blusher that I have been dying to get my eager little mitts on since the little tinker came out and for 1 reason or another, I just couldn't, mainly because the idea of spending £23.50 almost had me having a panic attack, it is an insane price though in spite of that, I was going to get it with my points from Boots but luckily, for me, I received at as part of my Christmas presents. Lucky me :)
So, what do I actually think about it?  Even though i think it is just is lovely, I do still think that the blusher is overpriced as an Hourglass blusher is only £28 and more luxury end to me that the Benefit blusher.. When I opened it, there was some glitter which scared the bejesus out of me as I don't do glitter on my face, having said that it is just overspray and I realised that as soon as i swatched it.
It is so silky soft, super pigmented, lasts the whole day and I highly recommend it to anyone who is uhmming and ahring over whether to get it or not. It is lovely and worth every penny and that is a big deal for me as I think that Benefit is a tad overpriced for what it is, I still think the blusher is overpriced as an Hourglass blusher is only £28 and more luxury end to me. Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful that I have this little beauty in my collection, I have literally used it so much since receiving it but, for me anyway, I thin I will spend my money on Hourglass blushers that purchasing anymore of the Benefit blushers as it definitely more value for money and there is more of a grown up, luxury feel to the Hourglass blushers.

Have you tried the Benefit blushers? What are your thoughts? Do you have any of the Hourglass blushers and do you think I should take the plunge?

NOTD: Nails Inc Sugar House Lane

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today, as I am sat here feeling quite ill, I am still a happy bunny as I know that that gorgeous season Spring is literally just around the corner. I can't tell you just how excited about that I am, I mean, seriously, who else is sick of the dark nights, rain and those blooming bleak, cold & dark mornings? Seriously, enough already and bring on that sun thank you very much.
Anyway, enough of my moaning and let me tell you about this stunning NOTD that I have decided to sport, the Nails Inc special effects in the shade sugar house lane. In all fairness, I wasn't sure that I was going to like this, don't ask me why but I just didn't feel inspired to put this on my nails. I has been sitting and staring at me for over 6 months now, taunting me so I had to get it out of the way. I know, a terrible way to talk about a nail polish.
When I started to put this baby on my nails, my doubts started to fade away when I saw just how stunning on the nails it actually is. It appalled easily with no streaking and was opaque in 2 coats. It didn't chip for a couple of days and when it did, I didn't want to take it so did a couple of minor repairs hehe. IN total, I wore this polish for 5 days straight which is unheard of for me as I get bored with a polish on my nails quite quickly.
Have you tried any of the Nails Inc special effects polishes? I would love to hear from you and see if you have any recommendations for me?

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
