I love nail polish tag

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would do a tag about 1 of my favourite things: Nail Polish. I do have to say that I am a little late to the love of nail polish though now that it is a love thing, it is a serious addiction. Anywho, onto the questions from the tag....

1  Fave base coat?
I don't really have a favourite base coat as at the moment I have a few that I am trying to use up though I do like the Natio base & top coat though I'm not a fan of it as a top coat.
2 Fave top coat?
I have to say that it is a toss up between Seche vit and the Nails Inc caviar top coat, I love both.
3 Top 3 nail polish brands?
This is an easy one for me, I love Orly, Nails Inc and Revlon for nail polish.
4 How often do you paint your nails?
It really depends on my mood but I do love to change up my nails daily unless I'm absolutely loving my nails that day and I will try to keep it on for as long as I possibly can.
5 Fave neutral nail polish?
Its a strange one for me as its not really neutral only because it is very glitter laden but I love it and it is Zoyas Bar, its just stunning.
6 Pink or red nail polish?
I would have to go for pink really as I don't often wear red nail polish. Though I do have to say that I love China Glaze Ruby Pumps and OPI Linkin Park after dark. Stunning.
7 Glitter or matte nail polish?
Oh my, definately glitter for me, I love all things glitter for my nails. Pure lust fest going on with glittery nails.
8 Your go to nail polish at the moment?
I have to say that I absolutely adore Orly Fowl play, it combines both of my loves, darks and glitter. Om nom nom.
9 Whats on your nails now?
Essie bump up the pumps, stunning and I have literally only just got it yesterday.
10 If you had a nail polish line, what would it be called?
Oh I think I would have to cal it "Pure Lust fest" as that is what I feel when I see a stunning nail polish and I can feel the adrenaline kicking in when I know it is coming home to me.
How about you? Have you tried any of the nail polishes that I have mentioned? I do thin that everyone of you should try answering these questions and maybe even doing the tag itself, I loved doing it.

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

NOTD: Jack Wills

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share with you a stunning nail polish by Jack Wills, sadly there isn't a shade name but because it is just so beautiful, I had to share it with you.
I got this little beauty as part of a set in the Christmas sales here and to be fair, I only bought the set as I fell in love with it there and then. It is just beautiful.
I hadn't really heard of Jack Wills until Christmas 2014 (yikes, that feels like it was forever ago) and bought the fabulous weekends essentials gift set in a bag and I was hooked. I have tried the pink one and it is nice but doesn't bowl me over like this one does.
This pretty polish applies like a dream, and is opaque in 2 coats, has no streaking and it wore on my nails for a full 5 days. I am impressed and have wore it loads since buying it. I am definately interested in trying more of the Jack Wills polishes if anymore exist.

Estee Lauder Doublewear Light Intensity 2.0

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share my thoughts on the Estee Lauder Double Wear foudation in the shade Intensity 2.0.
I have to say that I bought this on the back of a sample that I tried and my love of the original Double Wear. I do still love the Double Wear original, however, that is just too heavy for me and now that my skin has changed, it doesn't work as well as it used to.
Because of that I was desperate to try the lighter version, so off I went to get myself shade matched and to get a sample. I wasn't sure if it would work for me and at £30, I didn't want to buy it and it not work for me, samples are amazing for this very reason.
The coverage is light though it can be built up to a medium coverage, it is super easy to blend and flawless when set. I don't set it with a powder as it just doesn't need it, having said that, the first time I wore it, I did set it  powder and was a tad heavy handed and I did end up with cake face. There is no fading or patchiness and wears as long as the original.
I love it.
If you are on the fence on the Double Wear light, I would recommend that you get shade matched and ask for  a sample as the staff at the Estee Lauder counters, are generally lovely & helpful. Highly recommend this lovely foundation.

Max Factor Puff Blush 10 Nude Mauve

Hello my lovelies, how are  you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

I am sorry I haven't been here for a few days  but I have had the flu and a darned ear infection to boot. It has been lovely :(
Anyway, enough about my woes, today I thought I should let you know my thoughts on a blusher that I have been trying out for the fast few weeks by Max Factor in the shade 10 Nude Mauve.
I have to say that this really is beautiful, it is a very natural blusher or as I prefer to use it as a blush topper and it is just stunning. It is so soft & buttery with pretty damn good pigmentation. It last all day on me which is a big deal as my make up fades or just plain old wears off within a couple of hours.
When I love something, I fall hard and this is 1 of those that has made me want to get the whole collection. Having said that, I have recently found out that it is meant to be a dupe of 1 of the Hourglass ambient blushers, whether that is true or not, I can't really say, it has however, made me want to try 1 of those too. Oh dear.
Have you tried the puff blushers from Max Factor? What are your thoughts on them? Do you have any recommendations for me to try?

Until the next time,

A sneaky Nails Inc Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I don't know about you but I have you noticed how many sales are happening at the moment? I feel as if I need to have them rated x so that I can happily go about my business and not feel as though I need to go in to every shop, online or not, and see what deals can be had. I am terrible at not buying things, it is a weakness I tell you, I can't cope with it lol.
Having said that, I have been a fairly good girl and not gone too overboard (she says nod nod wink wink) and stuck with the things that I have been seriously lusting after for ages or that I desperately needed.
I have signed to the Nails Inc email and when it said that there was an up to 70% off sale I just had to go and have a sneaky peak didn't I? It would have been rude not to. Anyway, when I saw all of the beautiful things that I had been lusting after (and not in some cases oops), I had to put an order in and this little haul is the result. Naughty or what?

These crackers really are beautiful and they were on my Christmas present wishlist but sadly, Father Christmas didn't bring me them though he did bring me some beautiful little things that I am absolutely in love with.
When I opened these little beauties I could have danced around the living room, they are just beautiful and I love that they go with pretty much every polish that I have recently purchased. The looks I have created with these little bad boys have turned out to be a little bit on the special side.

I am looking forward to experimenting with all of these and seeing how they turn out with other polishes and brands too. I love to mix and match and to put together shades that I wouldn't normally think would work. How exciting.

Mascaras I ahave been trying: Bourjois, Soap & Glory, Natural Collection.

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share with the mascaras that I have been trying out in the months of December, January and February.
I have been using my go to waterproof mascara by Natural Collection (I wont go into to much detail as I have a full review post here) Bourjois volume glamous max holidays and the Soap & Glory thick and fast.
Bourgois here £8.99: I did not like this mascara in the slightest, the brush was massive, it picked up way to much mascara and the mascara itself was just too dry to be able to do anything with it. It stung my eyes, took forever to dry and just kept on transferring to my upper lid. It smudged like crazy and as for waterproof, how the heck can it be waterproof when it just smudges  everywhere? I really would not recommend this to anyone ever.
Natural Collection Watergaurd mascara here £1.99: This mascara has been my go to for years and is what I compare every other mascara to when trying new mascaras. This is THE perfect everyday mascara, it doesn't smudge, transfer or run (on me anyway) and stays put until I take it off at the end of the day. It gives good length and volumises though I have to say that when I want a more dramatic lash, I add on another mascara and use this as a top coat.
Soap & Glory here £10.50: This is the most expensive out of the 3 but that doesn't mean it isn't worth buying, it is as it is really blooming brilliant actually. I have been loving it with my Natural Collection mascara, it gives the most perfect eyelashes and when you are like me, they are poker straight and so light that they look as though I don't have lashes. I have to say that the brush is blooming massive, it is actually bigger than my whole eye and does make it a little difficult at applying but that works when I tilt my head back. I do love this mascara and I have no problems in purchasing it again in spite of the size of the want lol.

Freedom Pro Highight Brighten

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing well?

Today I thought I would share my love for the Freedom Pro Highlight in the shade Brighten.
This little beauty is amazing costs just £3 and is fast becoming an everyday must for me alongside my all time favourite Mac Lightscapade.
It does look as though there is shimmer in there but it really doesn't show up when blended out, I hate shimmer or glitter in face make up. (For me, the only place glitter I wear is on my nails, love it on my nails.)
There is a metallic pink/blue sheen to this beauty that gives the perfect glow when blended into the blush (or I also use it as a blush topper), it blends easily, leaves a lovely glow to the skin without any patchiness.

The formula is a little hard but that just means your brush doesn't pick up too much powder and no fall out. Win win.

MUA Pretty Edgy Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?
Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Make Up Academy pretty edgy palette.
I am a big fan of MUA and would recommend trying them out to anyone and everyone, they have so many lovely products that sometimes it is hard to choose though I will start here with this gorgeous pretty edgy palette.
Quality:Not quite amazing but it is still pretty damn good. 7/10

Pigmentation: Pretty damn good though there are a couple that are not as pigmented. 9/10

Formula: A little dry with a couple causing fallout. 7/10
Travel Friendly: Not enough lighter shades and I need to bring in another palette for that. Studs are a little impractical though they are very pretty. 5/10

Longevity: They lasted a good 8 hours with eye primer. 8/10

Blendability: They do take a little work though are more than worth the effort. 7/10
Versatility: For me, there are not enough lid & bending shades and had to bring in another palette the few times that I have used it. 6/10

Packaging: It looks stunning with the studs, is sturdy and black plastic. 9/10

Value: Amazing!!! 10/10

Overall: I do think this is a lovely palette and would have no problems recommending this to anyone to try here for £8. 8/10

Total:    78/100
Have you tried the pretty edgy palette?
What are your thoughts?

Make Up Revolution Iconic Pro 2 Review & Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

Today I thought I would share my thoughts on the Make Up Revolution Iconic Pro 2 palette. I do love a good palette and let us get on with whether this sexy number is worth investing in.
Quality: I am astounded at this palette, it is just amazing. I can't really rave about it enough to be fair. 10/10

Pigmentation: Phenomenal. Again I am completely astounded at this palette and what it has to offer. 10/10

Formula: There is some slight fallout though it is minimal. There are a couple that are a little on the rough side though the rest are buttery soft. 9/10
Travel Friendly: It is sturdy, light and has a wide variety of shades, this is all the palette you would need to take away with you. 10/10

Longevity: They lasted 6 hours without primer and over 12 hours with a primer. 9/10

Blendability: Just amazing, no issues at all. 10/10
Versatility: I have created so many looks with this palette, it is just amazing. 10/10

Packaging: Seek, black and sturdy, though the only drawback is the flimsy sheet with names that you get inside the palette, the amount of times I have lost this is starting to get annoying.8/10

Value: Just amazing!! What more can I say? 10/10
Overall: This is a palette that I recommend everyone to go out and but it, it really is worth every penny of the £6.99 it costs here. This bad boy has stayed through so many destashes that I have lost count.10/10

Total: This bad boy gets a whopping 86/90.

Have you tried this palette? Have you tried anything from MUR? I highly recommend them, they are brilliant?
