Tag Your're it

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well anddoing OK?

Today, I thought I would do something a little different and do another tag called "Tag you're it". I like to read tag posts and watch them on youtube.
So, without further ado, here it is.

1) One day, would you like blogging to be your job?
It would be nice but for me, it is not exactly why I do blogging. I like to write about what I think of any beauty products I may try or want to try. For so long, I used to try make up, skincare and the like and not be able to say anything about it whether it is positive or negative and now that I can, I am one happy bunny.

2) Do you have any pets? If, so tell me about them?
I do, I have a little Shih Tzu who is now 1 years old and is a right little tinker I can tell you. She is an amazing little ball of energy and I love her to bits, she is a tad crazy and fits in well with my family.

3) What did you do with your time befor blogging?
Look after my family, work as a residnetial care worker and loved it.

4) Do your friends/family know about your blog?
Yes, I am not overly shy in letting them know my thoughts and they respect it. I don't think writing a blog is anything to be embarrassed or ashamed about, do you?

5) Would you rather never wear eyeshadow or bronzer/blusher again?
I very rarely wear bronzer so for me, that wouldn't be an issue though not being abe to use blusher is more of a big deal to me. So, I guess I would sooner not wear eyeshadow again as I love the Clean Beauty that Wayne Goss talks about in this video, it is a fantastic look.

6) Do you write enough posts as you need them or as many to last you a week or more?
I like to do both as I can't always write a post up every other day as my life is pretty hectic at the minute. I do like to have some posts that are already wrote out so that for those days where I dont have an awful lot of time, I can just get 1 out straight away as they all take time to writ out anyway so I don't see an isue with it.

7) Are you more into fashion or make up?
I do prefer my make up over fashion though having said that, it is nice to look good too. What would be the point of having good make up& hair and then wear terrible clothing?

8) Twitter or blogger?
Blogger for me though I am liking a bit of the old twitter action.

9) Are you happy with your blog design?
I love my blog design, I like simplicity and I do change it up with every new season. (or just when the mood takes me)

10) Do you prefer to read beauty, lifestyle or fashion blogs?
I prefer beauty blogs as I do love to see knew make up techniques especially as I am getting older and my skin is changing. I like to wear make up that works with me and not against me.
There you have it, how do you think I did? I tag everyone who reads this tag to have a go yourself. You never know, you might enjoy it ;)

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would do a quickfire review on Urban Decays B6 vitamin-infused complexion prep spray...that is a mouthful. OK, not easy to remember I can tell you oops.
This is what it says on the UD website: Give your skin a quick hit and calm a multitude of sins. It’s one of those products you didn’t even know you needed. (But once you try it, you’ll wonder how you ever survived without it!) This scientifically advanced formula contains a stabilised form of topical vitamin B6, helps absorbs oil, and minimises the appearance of pores. This spray comes in a sleek, soft-touch bottle (dark purple, of course) with a bright neon-green sprayer. Like Urban Decay’s setting sprays, it emits a calibrated, microfine mist that goes on so light, you’ll hardly feel it.
I am definitely not sold on this prep spray, I don't see any difference in the size of my pores, not even a minute difference and don't even start on the oil absorbing it is meant to do. The only thing I like about this is the fact that it is refreshing, that's it. It definitely isn't a product I would rush out and buy again, especially when it is £22 for full size. It is definitely nice as a face mist but that is it (for me anyway) and I much prefer the Elf mist spray & the Make Up Revolution spray, they are cracking.
I definitely have to disagree with them saying you dont know how you survived without it, I already know the answer to that: fine thank you and will continue to be fine. A definite no for me on this though it might work for someone with less oil prone skin, or someone a heck of a lot younger than me.
Have you tried the prep spray?
What did you think of it?

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Ta Ta for now.

1 Brand FOTD: NO7

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this lovely sunshine?
Today I thought I would share with you a 1 brand FOTD featuring 1 of my favourite drugstore brands, No7. I have to admit a little bit of bias for No7 as for a long time (before I became a serious make up junkie), I used to believe that No7 was high end, (I know, crazy huh?) though that has changed and I  now know better. I do still think that it can be expensive for what it is but having said that, No7 are always on offer with vouchers galore that can be had and don't forget those wonderful Boots points that are collected too.
Even though I have some serious bias, I will be honest in my thoughts on each product and say how they worked for me, whether it was good or bad or just plain old meh. I will say that there are a couple of items that were sent out to me for free though I don't think it had anything to do with my blog as I think a fair few people were sent the same too. I will mention which ones they are when I come to them.
Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer here £19.50(I did receive this free): WNBA have only used this the once and can't give a full on review but on first impressions, I am not blown away by this primer. I do like that it is a cream and not a clear, silicone liquid, it sinks into the skin lovely and hydrates enough for me to not have to moisturise before (especially when using a tinted moisturiser), I would not buy this myself. 2/5
Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser in Fair here for £12: WNBA With a tinted moisturiser, there isn't any coverage which is fine with me as I don't like to feel my make up when I am wearing it. This TM is perfectly light, gives a beautiful glow and lasts a good few hours though it didn't last longer than the 8 hours I like. 2/5
Match Made Concealer Warm Ivory here for £7.50: WBA. I was extremely surprised by this concealer, because it is a stick form I was expecting it to be too drying for me. However, this little number is so hydrating & creamy, I can use it under my eyes (at a pinch). Great coverage too. 3.5/5
No7 Perfect Light Loose Powder in Fair here for £10.50: WBA Oh boy is this an amazing powder, it is so soft that it feels almost non existent to the touch. It sets my make up perfectly and helps with oil control. Did I mention that you get loads? 20 grams to be exact. Amazing huh?
5/5
No7 Stay Perfect Smoothing & Brightening Eye Base £7 here
WBA and I have, (this is a repurchase for me): It is blooming brilliant! My eyeshadow do not budge when I use this little baby. It is creamy and not drying in the slightest. I highly recommend it. 5/5
Eyeshadow Palette: Sadly, I don't think you can buy this now as it was released for Christmas last year, however, it does give you an idea of what their eyeshadows are like in palettes. I do prefer the single form eyeshadows though saying that, this is a lovely palette, a tad powdery but still lovely to work with. 2/5
Midnight Lash Mascara £13.50 here: WBA (This was sent to me). I rarely like non waterproof mascaras but this is 1 one the mascaras I really liked. I gives great volume and even lengthens my little stubby lashes, love it and the brush is massive too.  4/5
Extreme Lengths Waterproof Mascara Black £12.50 here: I received this in a freebie gift that No7 do quite alot. I have been using this in conjunction with the midnight lash above and it adds that little something extra. Can I say how much I love this brush? Just brilliant. 5/5
Amazing Eyes EyeLiner £7.50 here:
WNBA. This is just an OK eyeliner, it does the job but smudges on me and that is not a good thing when your eyes are sensitive. 1/5
Mosiac Perfectly Bronzed £12 here: WNBA only because I rarely use bronzers and when I do, only to warm up my face. I Like matte bronzers and this is more of a satin I think, though I did use the pink & coral swirled together as a blusher and was lovely. 2/5
Midnight Enchantment Blusher: WNBA only because this is old and I don't think you can buy it anymore. Having said that, I do genuinely like this as a blush topper, it gives a lovely glow that isn't too much. It is perfect for the no make up make up look. 2.5/5
High Shine Lip Crayon in Delicate Pink £9 here: WBA as this is such a beautiful shade on me, it is the perfect MLBB shade on me. It is so creamy and soft, I just love it. 5/5
Lipuscious Gloss in Marshmellow: (I recieved this in a swap) I don't think this is available anymore which is sad as I really like this little beauty. It is a little sticky but nothing I can't handle, it is a delicate shade which is perfect for the no make up make up look I went for today. 3/5

So there you have it, my thoughts on No7 1 brand FOTD.
Have you tried any No7 make up? What are your thoughts?

Top 5 Drugstore Blushers

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

Today I thought I would share with you my top 5 drugstore blushers that I am absolutely loving of late. I find blushers to give that little bit of something extra va va voom to my make up. It perks up my face when all I am wearing is a BB cream, mascara and tinted lip balm.
First up we have the stunning Make up Revolution in the shade Hot here: it is just stunning. It is so pigmented that I only need the smallest amount and can be a tad much if a light hand is not used, it i so easy to blend, buttery soft and just beautiful. LOVE.
Next we have the equally beautiful MUA Blush in shade 2 here: This is the perfect blush for my very natural days when I don't want to wear alot of make up, it is very very natural and gives that little bit of a flush to the cheeks. Love this little beauty.
Next we have the stunning Sleek blush in Rose Gold here: This little stunner is meant to be a dupe for the Nars Orgasm but I can't say anything about that as I don't own orgasm but as a stand alone blush, this is just breathtaking. I use this alot in the warmer months as it gives such a stunning glow to the cheeks with a lovely pop pf colour. I have repurchased this little beauty a couple of times now and will continue to do so.

Essence Blush up shade 10 heatwave here: Oh my is this just stunning. This is a blush that I purchased earlier this year on a recommendation from a lovely lady I know and boy am I glad that I listened. When this first came out, the sheer brightness of this blush scared me ever so slightly (OK, alot) but wow, I am so glad that I bought it as it really is a sheer but beautiful pop of colour and warms up my skin beautifully. Highly recommend.

Elf baked blusher in Rich Rose: This has to be my favourite drugstore blusher that I have ever owned. I just love the look it gives me whenever I wear it. I use this all year round. The pigmentation is just phenomenal. I love it and highly recommend it. (This is not available in the UK at the moment as they are changing over but should be here by the end of Summer. More information here)

So there you have it, my top 5 favourite drugstore blushers. What are your favourites? Are there any that you think that I should try?

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

S&G Endless Glove Handcream & Mask

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?
Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Soap & Glory Endless Glove moisture mask and hand lotion.
I seriously love this stuff, which is a strange thing for me, as I rarely like skincare from S&G, though having said that, there are a couple of things that I do like and I will write about those another time. Today is all about the endless glove hand cream & mask.
Hand creams are a must for me as I have dry to very dry skin and in some paces, even eczema which can be literally, a pain in the proverbial.
The S&G endless glove is a lovely hand cream but nothing special as a hand cream, having said that, as a hand mask it is brilliant. I wear it a couple of times a week where I just slather it all over my hands, fingers and wrists,  put on the cotton gloves and sleep. That's it, nothing else needed. When I wake up, my hands are beautifully soft and smooth. Result.
Have you tried the endless love hand cream?
Did you like it?
What are you thoughts?

MUA Spring Break Palette Review & Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I thought I would share my thoughts on the MUA Spring Break eyeshadow palette.
In all honesty, I wasn't wowed by this palette though it is lovely to look at. After using it for a couple of weeks and then being left in my drawer ever since, I passed it on to my sister who loves it.
The majority of shades in here are pretty much in every other palette I own, except sea foam and the damsen shade, (gutting really as they are truly beautiful) and can get them elsewhere.
The formula is lovely, the pigmentation is, as you would expect, amazing, though the eyeshadows don't last too long without primer but when I wore them with primer, they lasted all day.
As a brand, I think that MUA do some of THE most amazing palettes out there from a budget brand, I mean seriously amazing. I can't knock them, they rarely get it wrong with eyeshadows, blushers, highlighters and lipsticks. They are simply, brilliant.
Sadly though, for me anyway, because I have alot of make up, some dont get as much love as they should and this palette was 1 of them.
I do recommend this palette, it does do so many looks and is beautiful, just sadly not for me.

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

MUA Power Pout Rendezvous Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing OK?

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the MUA power pout in the shade Rendezvous. I have a fair few of these and I have to say, straight off the bat, that I love them all. They are super pigmented, very balmy though they are minty and can tingle the lips which in some products can be painful, these aren't painful just tingly.
Out of all of the shades I have, this is my favourite, only because it goes with literally every single look I try, it is the perfect nude (for me anyway). Don't get me wrong, I do love the other shades, they are fantastic but I can only wear certain shades at certain times though that is just me.
These little beauties are not just balms but tints, I know there are some tinted balms out there that claim to tint your lips but they don't, these little puppies do and that tint sticks around for a good while I can tell you, sometimes I have even had to use full on make up remover to get it off. Now that is good.
Have you tried the MUA tinted power pouts? What are your thoughts?

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

NOTD: Nails Inc & Rimmel

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing OK?

Today I thought I would share with you a NOTD featuring Rimmel nail polish in English Rose and Nails Inc in Belgravia Place.
In all fairness, I am not the biggest fan of the Rimmel shade and is always in need of a topper to make it more interesting, having said that, the formula is brilliant and it lasts a fair few days on my nails which is blooming brilliant.
Nails Inc Belgravia Place is stunning when on but I only like it as a topper not a stand alone polish and is perfect with the Rimmel polish. Together they make a stunning nail polish for Xmas which is the only time I will wear this sadly.

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Top 5 High end Blushers

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing OK?

Today I thought I would share with you my love of blushers, for me, they are essential in my make up routine, they make all the difference. They perk up the face in the same way a lipstick can, it is totally game changing.
I have picked out my top 5 high end blushers (and trust me, that was not easy) to share with you though not in any particular order. NO doubt this will change in the future but for now, this is definitely it. Maybe hehe. (I will be doing my top 5 drugstore version in the not too distant future).

Laura Geller in the shade Pink Buttercream: This is a fairly recent addition to my collection (bought 6 months ago) and is already in my top 5, that speaks volumes. Though I have loved LG blushers for a few years now, I haven't really ventured into other products until recently, I am glad that I have I can tell you. This particular blush is perfect for Spring/Summer and there is also no need for a highlighter with this baby either as it gives a beautiful yet subtle glow to the skin. Perfect.
Laura Geller Baked Elements Blush Sienna: Would you Adam & Eve it, another LG blusher in the top 5? This is another little beauty that is perfect for the warmer months and is another 1 that doesn't need the extra highlighter. Love Love Love.
MAC Extra Dimension Blush Seduced At Sea: Before I even talk about the blusher itself, can I just say "HOT DAMN" the packaging is just stunning, amazing. The blusher itself is perfect for the Autumn/winter months, it just warms up my face beautifully. The formula is more of a satin than matte finish this bad boy stays around until I take my make up off at the end of the day. Pure lust fest here.

The Balm Hot Mama: This is also another recent (ish) addition to my collection that I have seriously fallen head over heels for, it is just the most stunning blusher, and that was even before I found out that it is meant to be a dupe for Nars Orgasm. Stunning.

Nars Lovejoy: Oh my is this the most amazing blusher you will ever see, I know it doesn't look much in the pan but when wearing it, it really is breathtaking. It is the most perfect Autumn/Winter blusher that I have ever owned or come across. I would have no issue of paying out full price for this little stunner.
So there you have it, my top 5 high end blushers. Have you tried any of my top 5? What are your top 5 high end blushers?

It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Ta Ta for now.
