January Empties

Hello lovelies,
how are you all? I hope you are all doing well.

I thought I would share with you my January empties, the things that I am loving and not so much of the loving.
Insette dry shampoo: WBA as this does wonders for my hair on the dreaded 3rd day.
No7 gentle toner: WBA as this is my all time favourite toner, I use it everyday.
My little star talcum powder: WBA as it a really lvoely powder to use straight after a bath, luxury.
Palmers daily calming facial lotion: WBA as I use this on my little girl who is prone to extremely red, dry and painful skin, this works wonders.
Trevor Sorbie straight shampoo: WNBA as this dried out my hair something terrible.
Gwen Stefani Love Perfume: WNBA only because this has now been discontinued and is extremely difficult to get a hold of otherwise, I would definately buy again. It is just lovely.
Colgate Max white toothpast: WBA as this is a fantastic toothapste, I prefer it to all others.
Elizaeth Arden  Moiture cream: WNBA as this is something that irritates my skin sadly but was lovely for my knees and elbows.
Maybelline colossol waterproof mascara: WBA as this is a fantastic mascara, not issues with this bad boy at all.
Elf liquid lipstick Bark: WBA as I have a love affair going on with this beauty. ove it.
W7 Setting spray: WBA as this is the perfect size for being in your handbag and it really did help to make my make up last longer.
The Bodyshop Undereye concealer: WBA as this was blooming brilliant. I couldn't recommend this any higher.
Elf matte Lipstick: WBA as this is fantastic, soft & butter and super pigmented.
Rimmel stay matter powder: WNBA as this was too cakey and powdery for my liking.
Natural Collection blusher: WBA as for £1.99, this is a fatastic little blusher.
Next Miss Seduce perfume: WNBA as this doesn't smell very nice on me but does have a nice smell to it.
Diesel Loverdose: WBA as this is just stunning. Love it.
Collection Cover & Go foundation: WBA as this is a nice little foundation for not very many pennies.
Laura Mercier tinter moisturiser: WMBA as this is just lovely but only if I can get it on offer as it is too pricey otherwise.
PUR Candles: WBA as these do smell nice though they don't last very long but they are only £1 so can be forgiven.
Ambi pure candles: WBA as these are just lovely and not overly expensive.

Cath Kidson Rose Hand cream

Hello lovely ladies,
how are you today?
I hope you are feeling good and enjoying life.

I have extremely dry skin and I am always using hand creams to keep the dryness at bay but I do struggle to find the perfect hand cream.
Have I found the perfect hand cream with the Cath Kidson Rose hand cream? In a word, No. It is a very nice hand cream but unless I am putting it on every hour on the hour then this is not a great hand cream for me. It is too runny a formula for it to work on dry hands but if you have normal skin this could work for you but sadly not for people with dry skin.
Have you tried the Cath Kidson products? What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from you.

I guess it is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Too Faced Lip Gloss "Pillow "Talk"

Hello lovelies,
I hope you are all OK and feeling well.
I have a review of the Too Faced lip gloss in the shade pillow talk for you in this post. I did a swap for this and a couple of other beauties because I fell in love with the shade and I have wanted to try out their lip products.
I wasn't always a lip gloss kind of girl, I much preferred a lipstick but lately, I have been reaching more for a gloss over a lipstick in the warmer months and for the early morning school runs.
I do have to admit that the shade is a little paler than I would normally go for but I did have a master plan. Some of my lipsticks are alot darker and this lip gloss is perfect for muting the shades and also perfect or adding a touch of shine to any matte lipsticks.
The scent isn't overly strong which I like, however, there is the typical mint sting as it is a plumping gloss. I can't normally wear those type o glosses as they swell my lips to distorted proportions but this is a comfortable sting, if that makes sense?
I am not 100% sure I would go out of my way to by another 1 as you can get much cheaper glosses that do the exact same job. Having said that, I do like it and I am happy that I have been able to try it and I would definately want to try more Too Faced products.
How about you ladies, have you tried any Too Faced products? What are they and would you recommend them?

It is that time again where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love 1 another.

Revlon Parfumerie scented nail polish haul

Hello ladies,
I hope you are well and not getting upto too much mischief.
Anyway, I was recently in a new budget shop that has recently opened up near me called Bargain Buys which is owned by the same company poundland and is more like the home bargains, savers and b&m shops.
I was surprised to see these beauties in there for £1 when they are still being sold in both Boots and Superdrug for £6.49 each. If I had bought these at Boots or Superdrug, it would have cost £25.96 versus the £4 I paid which gives me a grand total saving of £21.96. I think I like those kind of savings, don't you? As you can pretty much gather, I snatched them up rather snappish I can tell you lol.
I will do a review in the not too distant future of what they are like but so far, I am really liking them but I have only tried 1 so far, which is the spun sugar.
That is it for this post but will be posting again soon with a review.
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have tried any of the parfumeries, what are your thought's and do you have any recommendations?
I would love to hear from you.
I guess it is that time again where I have to say goodbye. Until the next time, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Essence Matte Long lasting lip gloss in Soft Nude & Velvet Rose with swatches

Hello lovelies,
How are we all today? I hope you are keeping well.
This post is a review of EssenceXXXL long lasting lipgloss matte in the shades Soft nude and velvet rose.
I am a massive fan of matte lipsticks and lip glosses with the Collection powder puffs being amongst my favourites (you can buy them here).
So, what are my thoughts?
I think I might have found a new firm favourite as these are just lovely. They are identical to the Collection Cream Puffs in every way. They are super creamy, amazingly pigmented and have the exact same scent. I highly recommend these and for £2.30  each, you can get them all only in the Wilko shops or on the Wilko website here. The only downside is that there are only 3 shades on the website and I think only 4 in store?
Have you tried these? What do you think of them? Please leave your thoughts and recommendations in the comment section below. I read all comments.

I guess it is that time again where I say good bye. Until the next time, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Bodyshop Strawberry body polish

 Hello lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are keeping well?

I am going to be talking to you about the Bodyshop's body polish (you can purchase that here) and how I use it.
I don't have a shower, only a bathtub so I can't use it the way it is meant to be used though I do use it as a hand, knee and elbow scrub. It is fantastic for that.
It has fine beads that removes any dry & dead skin that you may have and is lovely as part of a D.I.Y pamper night. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and the scent is just divine. It really is the most edible scent that I have ever encountered, and is nearly as gorgeous as their strawberry body butter.
Have you ever tried anything from the Bodyshop? What would you recommend?

Tinted Moisturiser Face Off feat Laura Mercie, Elf & Nivea

Hello my lovelies,
I hope you are all well?

I am going to be starting a new series called the face off.
It will be putting 3 or more products of the same type from budget, drug store and high end to see which comes out on top.
I will start off this series with tinted moisturisers and they are Nivea in the shade light, Elf in the shade sand and Laura mercier in the shade nude.

I will start with the Nivea tinted moisturiser as it is on offer atm for £1.78, even at full price it is still the cheapest of all 3 at Superdrug and you can get that here. I love the feel of this on my skin when I have really bad dry patches, this helps to moisturise and it doesn't accentuate those dry patches. This is great if you have almost perfect skin, the shade is a tad pale for me at the minute though is perfect when I lose my tan. It is also a little orange but when buffed into the skin, you really don't even notice it. It isn't the longest lasting of the 3 but I still love it for those days were I am not wanting to wear a lot of make up and only popping out for a couple of hours. 7/10

The Elf tinted moisturiser was the surprise for me out of all 3 as for some reason that I can't remember, I was not holding out much hope for this. Boy was I surprised when this turned out to be pretty damn good. I have to say that I do LOVE this and have since bought a back up for when this beauty runs out. I love the shade for me, it is soft, blends into the skin beautifully and gives a light coverage. I highly recommend this and you can get it here for £4.50.  I love it. 8.5/10
Now onto the most expensive out of the 3 at £34 but does that mean it will be better than the rest? No, it doesn't but it is pretty damn good. I wouldn't pay the full price for it but that is just me, I am a bit of a skin flint when it comes to buying expensive products but I will defantely buy again when it is on offer. This is my favourite out of the bunch but literally, only just. I love how it blends into the skin and gives a beautiful glow. I have extremely dull skin that needs a blooming good perking up and this does it wonderfully. It also isn't the longest wearing of them all either, that crown is given to Elf's tinted moisturiser. It gives light coverage and is perfect for those great skin days. You can purchase it here if you would like to try it for yourself and 8.5/10
So there you have it, my thoughts on tinted moisturisers and it just goes to prove that you don't have to spend a small fortune on beauty products to get the best product.
I guess it is that time again where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Elf 50 Piece palette Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you a quick review of the Elf 50 piece palette that is sadly no longer available but it is a palette I love of theirs and just wanted to share with you.
The pigmentation on all of the eyeshadows, bronzers and blushers are blooming brilliant and when you think that this is a budget brand, it makes it all the more amazing. Don't get me wrong the feel and quality isn't there in the eyeshadows but it is in the blushers and bronzers. That is where Elf rarely get it wrong.
I love this palette and have had it now for nearly 2 years, in that time I have barely made a dent in the blushers & bronzers. Though the eyeshadows look as though they have been used alot they actually haven't. There is a fair amount of fallout and can get really annoying but that is not what I love about this particular palette, that would be the blushers, just beautiful. They feel so buttery soft and last a long time when I wear them. I paid £15 for this little beauty and it is worth every penny even if it is just for the blushers.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time

Hello my lovelies, how are you all?
I hope you are all doing ok.

I thought I would share with you my NOTD Revlon in China Flower. Oh my is this a beautiful polish, it took my breathe away when I was applying it. It was almost opaque in 1 coat though I did apply 2 coats for the picture's below. I have a growing love for the Revlon Parfumerie polishes and have a fair few in my collection now. A very happy lady.

Primark Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all OK and loving this warmer weather? I don't know about you but I am certainly loving the warmer weather that we are having lately. I hope Spring has come early as I am certainly ready for it I can tell you. As much as I love all the Autumn/Winter shades and not forgetting Christmas, Spring & Summer is the time for BBQ's, holidays, days out at the beach etc, I seriously can't wait. And, I am seriously looking forward to the family holiday in May to Wales. I absolutely love Wales and I have been going there on holidays since I was born, quite literally and now take my little girl. You have to keep up the tradition and 1 day, I hope to live there. It is a beautiful, beautiful Country.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, onto what this post is about: a Primark haul. I must confess that I completely forgot about this little lot as since November, my bedroom has been a bit of an Aladdin's cave as that ha been the only place that I could store any presents that my little girl couldn't find. She isn't allowed in there you see, she likes to play with my make up and I have found lipsticks and nail polish all over my bed. Not the greatest day in make up I can tell you lol.
Anyway, I rambled yet again, (I have a tendency to do that)so will just crack on and show you what I did purchase. I have tried a fair few of these beauties and there will be a review coming up on them in the future.

Have you tried any of the Primark make up or nail polish? What are your thoughts on them and are there any that you would recommend or avoid?

Until the next time,

Planet Spa Indulgence Body Butter

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share you my thoughts on Avon's Planet Spa Indulgence shea body butter. I don't think they make this anymore sadly which I think is kind of crazy as this just makes me drool, the smell of it is pure, unadulterated luxurious chocolate mousse. It smells divine and it even feels like a mousse when you put it on, check out the picture's and you will see what I mean. This really is something extra special. If you can get your hand on this, seriously, do so as not only does it look good, smell good enough to eat, it actually is a beautiful body butter, it leaves your skin silky soft. Just pure luxury. Love it.

Coastal Scents Revealed Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my lovelies,
how are you all? I hope you are all keeping well.
I thought I would share my thoughts on a stunning palette that reminds me of a mixture of all 3 Urban Decay naked palettes.  I have had this palette for a year and I just keep forgetting to bog about it but boy, is it worth the wait. I purchased it from the Amazon website for £20.95 here.
I just love everything about it, the shadows are buttery soft, easy to blend, super pigmented, have seriously good staying power even without an eye primer. There isn't anything bad that I can really say about it to be honest, even the packaging is perfect. Though some people don't like the cardboard packaging but personally, I think it is really good, it is sturdy, slim, which makes it easy to store or to take travelling with you.  I highly recommend this palette to anyone, it is just amazing, 1 of of my all time favourites.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Illamasqua Sale Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you all? I hope you are all OK.
I haven't been attacking the sales as much as I did this time last year as I haven't really seen anything that has been totally amazing. There have been a few bits that I have bought and I am happy with those but when Illamasqua have a sale, I feel the adrenaline start to course throuh my veins and I just want to go crazy and I think I did a little. OOPS. I must say that I absolutely adore Illamasqua make up, it's up there with MAC, Urban Decay, Essence and Make up Revolution as being my favourite make up brands. I adore it.
So, what did I get? Well, I bought 3 of their palettes: The multi facet palettes in Semblance and Aura for £22.50 each RRP £45, The Reflection palette for £10.20 RRP £34 and a velvet blusher in Peaked for £10.75 RRP £21.50. A total of £65.75 but if Purchased at full price it would have cost £145.50, not too shabby eh? I am a happy bunny with my Illamasqua haul, have you bought anything from their sale? And if you want to purchase anything from their sale (which is still on) please follow the Link to the sale page on their website.
