NOTD: Love Nails Nail Polish

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you a NOTD with Love your Nails nail polish, weirdly, this polish doesn't have a number or a name though it is a lovely nude gold colour. I bought this polish from my local market for £1 and love the colour but even though this looks absolutely stunning on, I hated it.
Why?
It is way too fickle to know what type of consistency it is going to have: when I put it on my nails, the formula just kept on changing from thin to gloopy. I had to keep on taking off the polish from the brush, then have to dip it in the bottle to get a decent look on my nail. It dries too quick to the point that I hadn't finished 1 nail when it dried. It was a nightmare to use. I could never purchase another of these polishes from this brand because of this particular polish. Nightmare.

Until the next time,

Make Up Revolution Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all ok?

I thought I would share with you a cheeky little haul with Make Up Revolution. I have been seriously lusting after the Lorac Pro palette (the original) for what seems like forever but because it is only available in America, it is nigh on impossible to get. Well, that is unless you count the extremely expensive versions on Amazon and I don't even know if they would be genuine or not. So for me, when MUR brought out the dupes I had to have them, no matter what. Having said that, when I saw the pro 2, it sang to me more and I had to have that first. Both cost £6.99 and are available here. Amazing.
Since receiving this particular haul I have since put in another order with MUR including the Iconic Pro 1. Can't wait.
I do have a long list of products on my wish list and I have now ticked off a couple more items off that list with the Lip Lava in Tremor here £2.99, I love Obsession palette in Pure cult for £3.99 here and Lip Power in It's my life for £3 here.
Have you tried any of the MUR make up palettes?
Is there anything you think I should try?

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
Until the next time

Battle of the Urban Decay Dupe Palettes with Make up Revolution, MUA and W7.

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

Today I am going to be doing something a little bit different than normal: A battle of the dupes of the Urban Decay naked palettes.
Everyone knows that Make Up Academy (MUA), Make Up Revolution and W7 have dupes for all of the UD palettes except W7 for the Naked 3 palette, but more on that in the naked 3 battle.
Which one of them is the closest dupe wise? Which is THE palette to buy for each individual UD palette?

I am going to be testing out the dupes for Naked 1,  2 &  3, naked basics & basics 2 in seperate posts and figure out which 1, if any, I think is the overall better palette out of them for each UD palette.

 What am I looking for?
For me, the price point (value), formula, pigmentation, colour match, packaging and longevity are the main ones to look out for. What  I paid for the palettes (or even the RRP) I don't expect them to be an exact shade and formula match but it is still money at the end of the day that is being spent and no one wants to lose out on money no matter how small the change.
I have been putting ALL of the palettes for UD Naked 1 to the test over the past month and I am putting the final one to the test this week.

I think you will have already guessed that I will be starting with the original Naked palette and
I seriously cannot wait.  Let the battle commence!!!
Do you have any of the dupe palettes?
Do you have the Naked palettes?
What are your thoughts?

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.

NOTD: Jindie Nails Dead Roses

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all doing OK?

I thought I would share with you a beautiful Indie nail polish that has seriously rocked my world. I mean, seriously, look at those picture's (Sorry, I know they aren't the best but I have been struggling with light lately and I will be including this in a nail polish favourites in the not too distant future and hopefully the lighting will be better) doesn't it look like the most amazing polish you have ever seen? Do you think I liked this particular polish? hehehe
Anyway, onto my thoughts (apart form the fact that I love it that is lol). I purchased this from a lady I know but when I received it, it was gloopy and I admit that I was going to throw it in the bin but another lady I know, informed me that you can use a small amount of polish for a temporary fix while investing in a thinner would resolve the issue permanently. Once I had resolved the gloopy formula, it was fantastic to work with. It went on beautifully with a normal brush, was opaque in 2 coats and it stayed put for 5 days, yes, 5 days. And on my nails, that is a HUGE deal. Mahooosive.
I am going to be investing in a decent nail polish thinner so that I can use this bad boy many times as it would now pain me to have to put this in the bin and I don't want to have to do that.

Make UP Revolution Romantic Smoked Palette Review & Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
Are you having some serious fun in that sun?
I really can't wait for May now, Holiday time in Wales.
Don't ya just love the spring and summer months?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on Make Up Revolutions Romantic Smoked palette. Before I get on with the  review, I do like to give make up a good old try out, and to let you know, I have had this a fair few weeks and for that very reason, the picture's will reflect this. I can, because of that, give a full on, honest review of what I think of it.
I guess it is time for me to tell you what I think: the shadows themselves are actually really quite lovely, a tad powdery but with a primer, that is not an issue. The shade range is brilliant and I got a fair few looks out of this 1 palette. The pigmentation is pretty good though buildable. They last a few hours on their own but best used with a primer to give them an extra pop and to add a longer wear time. Though it isn't 1 of my favourite formulas in the palettes from MUR, it is worth the £4 (and probably a little more) that is asked for it.

Have you tried this palette? Have you tried any of the MUR palettes? Are there any that you would recommend?

Online Poundstore Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

I thought I would share with you a recent online purchase from the pound shop here and do get in new brands relatively regularly but can go out of stock quite quickly and once it is gone they are usually gone for good.

As you can tell by the name of the shop, everything costs just £1 and as with everything, some things can be hit or miss and if it's good, be sure to know that I will let you know on here.

Anyway, back to this amazing little haul ( I have tried some of them and I am impressed with a fair few of them), I have purchased  some of these items for £10, £15 and £20 full make up challenges and some because I really wanted to try them (nail polishes for 1). I have tried so far, a couple of the nail polishes, 1 of the little palettes and a couple of the chubby sticks and I am impressed. Not too shabby I can tell you.

MUA Haul

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all enjoying this gorgeous weather we are having?
Blooming gorgeous isn't it?

I thought I would share with you a fairly recent haul with you when MUA were doing their winter sale that ended in April.  I purchased some beauties that I have been wanting to try for a while and just hadn't got around to purchasing them. I also purchased some items for a £10 FOTD series I am starting within the next week or so.  The FOTD series will include everything in the next few hauls you see that I will put to the test a fair few times before I put the posts out, so that I can give an honest review on each item. Anyhoo, onto the little pretties that I have purchased:

Palette £2, Pro base concealer £2, blusher 50p, eyeshadow 50p

lip switch £1, power pouts £1 each

concealer 40p foundation £1.50

both  mascaras 50p

Lipstick & gloss 50p each
intense kisses 50p each (I think)

So that is what I purchased form MUA, did you take advantage of their sale? I would love to hear what you bought and what you think of them?

NOTD: OPI Kiss me I'm Brazillian & Sally Hansen 40 Midnight Glitz

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all keen well?

I thought I would show you a gorgeous pairing of the sexiest nail polishes I have seen in a long while. I seriously love this pairing.
OPI Kiss me I'M Brazilian is just a stunning brighter than normal baby pink and I have to say that I loved this the last time I tried pairing it with another polish but it didn't look great with that and you can see that here. I truly love this sexy little number.
Sally Hansen Midnight Glitz reminded me so much of Nails Inc Alexa nail polish in Sequins (available here from Asos) Though they are not 100% dupes, they are extremely close and the Sally Hansen is a a decent dupe for Sequins and is a decent alternative if you don't want to spend the £15 on the Nails Inc polish. I love love love love this pairing so much and highly recommend both of these nail polishes.

Liverpool Haul featuring Primark, Mac, Illamasqua, Rimmel, Nails Inc

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well.

I thought I would share with you some beauties that I have purchased over the passed couple of weeks.

I took a trip to my local market and found this gorgeous purse for £3, the Maybelline fit me foundation for £2.95 and the love nails nail polish for £1. I know, bargain central or what?

I also went into the local pound shops and bought 1 Sally Hansen and 3 Rimmel nail polishes for £1 each.

Next on the list was Boots where they where selling some of their perfume and aftershave gift sets for more than half price, Guerlain aftershave and perfume gift set were £18.95 and £18. respectively. Perfect.

TK Max was next on my list and there was a difficult decision to be made as I found a whole bunch of Illamasqua nail polishes but I was limited on funds by this time so I went for 1 Illamasqua duo & 1 single polish for £3.99 and £9.99 for the duo, not too shabby when they cost £14.50 each or £29 for the duo. I also bought 1 Butter London polish for £4 and 2 Nails Inc for £3 & £3.99 each.
My next stop was MAC shop where I bought 1 nail polish and an eyeshadow refill for £10 each, I also asked for a sample of their BB cream as they are always lovely in the Liverpool shop. Love it.

My next trip was Primark where I bought 2 liquid lipsticks at £2 each, 1 nail polish 50p, 1 lipstick/gloss set £1. I also bought my little girl some new pyjamas, shoes and boots which she loves and some new shoes for myself to boot.

Have you been sale & clearance shopping lately? I would love to hear what bargains you have bought recently.

NOTD: Illamasqua Ouija

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping ok?

I thought I would share with you a recent NOTD featuring Illamaqua's Ouija. It is a pink, (almost rosie pink) with small glitter particles that make it even more special. Though I am not usually the biggest fan of pink nail polishes, this one is 1 of the exceptions to the rule and is just stunning. A definate keeper.
I fell in love with this polish when I first saw it in Tk Maxx and hoped the love would continue but did it? In a word, yes. It is just beautiful though the picture's don't really do it any justice.
This little beauty was opaque in 2 coats, the formula is a dream to work with and stayed put on my nails for 4 days without chipping. Just brilliant.
Have you tried Illamasqua nail polish? What are your thoughts? Are there any that you would recommend?

Montagne Jeunesse olive face mask review

Hello ladies, its me yet again.
At this rate you are literally going to get sick of me heheheh but hey ho. Enough about me and lets get on with you, I hope you are all well and everything is brighter now that we are officially in Spring.
This is a review of Montagne Jeunesse olive face mask and this is what it looks like:

I did take a picture of the mask before I used it but my camera is a little temperamental at the moment and is throwing a fit. I thought I would do a few vogue poses before I clean it off and tell you what I honestly think about it.

Brave, I know, no make up lol.

I have taken off the mask and my skin feels so tight (I haven't put any moisturiser on) but also feels soft and smooth to the touch. I feel as though I have had a really good facial. For the price of them ( I got mine in a swap but I have seen them in Boots for £1), I would definately buy. So what do you think? Has it give my skin a little glow? Would you try it?
Just remember that life is short enjoy it and love one another.
Until the next time,

Make up Revolution Stripped & Bare Palette Review & Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you yet another eyeshadow palette from Make Up Revolution: Stripped & Bare. I am going to get the negatives out of the way with this palette first as they are what bug me the most. Some of the eyeshadows are not that pigmented compared to the other shadows though they are still buildable. They are super powdery and you lose alot of the shadow when applying, look at how much I have used and Ive only really used it about 10 times. They are slightly difficult to blend though I did get some good looks out of it once blended. You lose alot of the shadow through fall out, not too good but then the palette is cheap at £6 it is still a good palette and if you like the look of it, it is available here.

Ok, so what are the positives? For me, the shades are worth the £6 alone as there are so many looks that you can achieve from this little number and I love a good variety in my palettes. I love the versatility of the palette, MUR have set it out in 3 sections where you can create looks from each individual section or mix and match, which is what I like to do. The length of wear is about 6-8 hours with a primer on my hooded lids so would imagine that it would be a good deal longer on non-hooded lids.

For me, this is not MUR's best palette that they have released but I also can't expect to love everything that they bring out. I love the MUR brand, I have a large collection of their make up and will continue to purchase more.
It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,
