Garnier Miscellar Water Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all felling well?

I have been trying the Garnier Miscellar water as my local WIlkos did not have my Loreal alternative in stock, so I thought why not give this a go? And boy am I glad about that. I love it so much that it has become a part of my nightly must have skincare staples. It is currently on offer atm in Boots for £3.33 for a large 400mls here.

I just love how this literally takes off every last grain of make up and grime from the day and doesn't even dehydrate or tighten my skin. It is so refreshing too for those days were you are getting all hot and bothered. Love it and I highly recommend it.
That is it for now, don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Until the next time,

Make Up Revolution Pro Fix Setting Spray Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well?

I struggle with make up lasting a full day as my skin just drinks it up especially moisturising BB creams, tinted moisturises or foundations. I have tried many of the various setting sprays on the market including Elf's setting spray, Urban Decay all nighter/deslicker and MACs fix+. And even though I like all of them for various reasons, the Urban Decay deslicker became my staple setting spray. I was hoping to find something a tad cheaper that worked just as well for everyday use.

When make up Revolution released their pro fix make up setting spray, I had to try it (available here for £5) and the original setting spray: (here also £5) is on my wish list amongst a a number of things. Anyway, I bought the pro fix setting spray a while back and have been trying it out for the past month and I have to say, I am impressed.
When you press to spray, it comes out in a fine mist which is a good thing as it does not completely drench your whole face. It is also very refreshing and perks you up if you are still tired from having to drag yourself out of bed.
I did find that it helped the longevity of my make up and I use it everyday now in place of the UD deslicker.
Though it is too big for travelling, I will buy a travel size Urban Decay deslick for that very purpose. Nice one Make up Revolution, another product that is fantastic. Love it.

That is it for now and I will bid you goodbye. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.
Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now,

Skin care body

Skin care: body

Hello ladies, I  hope you are all well?  Hello........... where has it gone? Holy molie, spring is here and you know what that means?  SUMMER is just around the corner. Ooh  hello big boy, where have you been hehehe.
Sorry about that, I guess I have a little bit of spring fever.
Anyway, back to what I want to share with you today, my skin care routine and this one is all about the body.
As you can see, my go to body lotion/butter is Bodyshop, they are fantastic for my dry skin and I can even use it when I have a flare up of my eczema on my legs.(I have a variety of these to use up but my favourite scent so far is the strawberry as I don't need to use a perfume when I am using that.) There are 2 formula's 1 for normal skin and 1 for dry skin though I have eczema, I still prefer the normal skin version, it sinks into my skin quicker. Love it. 5/5
Avon SSS body shimmer oil: I must say that I do prefer the original dry oil from avon but as you may well see, I have a theme where I am trying to use everything up before I repurchase. I do like this one but would not repurchase as it is too glittery for me though it does soften my skin when i get out of the bath. 4/5

Loccitane hand cream: I do like this, it softens my hands like nobody's business and I will repurchase when I have used all of my hand creams (though could be a good while as I have a fair few). 4/5
So there you have it, my complete body skin care though it will change as I am trying to use up what I already have before I buy anymore products.
What are your go to skincare items? Would you recommend them?
Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
Until the next time,

Superdrug Naturally Range Review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Superdrug naturally Radient range including the Brightening Microdermabrasion, Renewing night cream, Glycolic overnight peel and the Brightening Radiance balm. These are currently half price with a few other items from their Natural Radiant range here.

Superdrug micro scrub £2.48 (normally £4.99):  Even though this is a gorgeous scent and the colour green, this particular scrub I didn't like. It just didn't scrub my face in the enough and I like to feel the grains doing their job as the grains were just way too big and not that many for my liking.
Superdrug naturally radiant night cream £2.98 (normally £5.99):  I have repurchased this a couple of times already and I just love this stuff, it leaves my skin so soft and feels exactly the same way first thing in the morning. It smells divine too.
Superdrug naturally radiant brightening balm ££2.98 normally £5.99): This really did do what it says on the packaging my skin is so dull and this made my skin look so natural & healthy without looking greasy. Ding dong I'm a happy bunny with this bad boy.
Glycolic Overnight Peel £2.98 (normally £5.99): I hated this with a passion. It dried out my skin something terrible and I already have dry skin. I even tried it when at that time of the month when my skin becomes more combination but it just did not work for me. I did like the smell though but would not recommend it for that alone.

Have you tried anything from the Naturally Radiant range at Superdrug? What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from you.

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.

March empties

Hello my lovelies how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you my March empties what I have been loving, hating or just feeling a bit meh about.

Primark anti-bacterial hand wipes: WBA as these are really handy to have for when I am walking my dog, they are perfect for that.
Asda facial wipes: WNBA as these were just meh and I only used them to clean swatches form the back of my hand.
Wilko large cotton pads: WBA as I use this particular size for when I am removing glitter nail polish easier to wrap around my nails & finger tips.
Boots cucumber facial wipes: WBA as these are my go to night time face wipes.
Boots essentials face wipes: WBA as these do the job really well.

My little star talcum powder: WBA as this is lovely after a nice soak in the bath.
Bodyshop body butter Strawberry: WBA as this is a fantastic butter and the scent is just divine.
Loccitane body milk: WNBA only because this particular scent was horrendous but the lotion itself was stunning.
Bodyshop almond hand & nail cream: WBA as this is a  lovely hand cream and smells lovely.
Soft & Gentle deodorant: WBA as this is 1 of my favourites.

Radox bubble bath: WBA as this does the job and smells lovely.
Wilko fruit body scrub: WNBA as the scrubby bits are very few and far between. Not the biggest fan though the scent is lovely.
Clairol perfect 10 hair conditioner: WNBA as I thought this did nothing for my hair whatsoever.
Colgate toothpaste: WBA as this is my fave toothpaste.

Pantene conditioner: WBA as this was lovely on my hair and left it soft and sleek.
Insette dry shampoo: WBA as this is just as good as the Batiste with a smaller price tag.
Trevor Sorbet straight Shampoo: WNA as this was not the greatest really left my hair dried out like crazy. Not a fan.
Trevor Sorbet frizz free shampoo: WNBA even though this was ok I didn't feel as if it did that much for my hair. Just a meh product for me.
Garnier mini conditioning treatment: WBA as this is a lovely hair treatment after using a hair dye.

Urban Decay all nighter setting spray: WBA as this is a brilliant setting spray.
W7 setting spray: WBA as this is a fantastic size for travelling and a decent spray for the  price.
Boots time delay eye cream: WNBA as this did nothing for my under eyes, I didn't feel moisturised.
Gerda Spillman mini primer: WBA as this is just a lovely moisturising primer. Love it.
Carmex lip balm: WNBA as this burned the heck out of my lips, it went straight into the empties bag. Not a chance I was using this again.
Nars pore refining primer: WNBA even though I really liked it, I have found something that I like just as much if not more, and at a heck of a lot of a cheaper price.
Miss Seduce perfume: WNBA even though this had a nice smell, it just didn't smell like that on me. I used it as my bedroom air freshener.
Maybeline baby lips: Wba as it is a nice lip balm not the best but it is ok.

Guerlain gils d'enfer mascara: WBA as this is a blooming brilliant mascara. Though it isn't waterproof, it did not smudge or move for the entire day and night I wore it. I love it.
Essence stay natural concealer: WBA as this is lovely as an under eye highlighter.
No7 eyeshadow stick: WNBA as this is not really my cup of tea though it is nice and creamy just not something I would find myself reaching for again.
Stila eyeliner: WBA as this particular shade is beautiful for the inner corners. Love it.
Pepsi tinted lip balm: WBA as this is so soothing on the lips and the pigmentation is phenomenal.
Benefit ooh la lift:  Wnba as  I much prefer the moonbeam as a highlighter. This is lovely and gives a lovely glow.
Elf colour stick spotlight: WBA as this is just a beautiful cream highlighter and lasts a good while too.
Nails Inc caviar top coat: WBA as this leaves a lovely shine to my nails and helps to keep my nail polish chip resistant a little bit longer than normal.

It is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.
Until the next time

Debenhams, Superdrug & Poundland Poundworld Haul

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you a recent haul from Debenhams, Poundland/world and Superdrug. I must say that I do love a sneaky little bargain and I definately got that with some of these beauties. I know the Urban Decay eyeshadow may seem out of place in a budget haul but I only paid £2.60 for it as I had a £10 reward on my Debenhams card. Bargain or what? I did get it for my Theodora palette though I will show why in another post.
My next stop was Superdrug for both Make up Revolution and the MUA stand...I wanted to try the correcting powder from MUA for a while so decided to pick that up with the gorgeous Elyssium palette, stunning coloours and reminds me of my UD naked 3. MUR had a fair few items out of stock but had 1 eye primer left in "Stay Don't Stray" and I picked that up as I have trouble with eyeshadows sticking around longer than a couple of hours.
Next was the local Poundland & Poundworld where I picked up 3 Sally Hansen nail polishes (though 1 is for a friend), Revlon, sinful and Poundlands own brand nail polishes. I also bought a W7 celebrity eyeshadow quad and a tangle teaser for my little girl.
I do love a blooming good bargain and sometimes, on the odd occassion, something might not be worth it but luckily, this time, everything has worked out well. There will be reviews in the coming months on every product in this particular post (among others) but for now, here are the sexy products that I have bought.

It is that time where I say goodbye. Until the next time, remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Haul featuring MUA, Make Up Revolution and Beauty UK

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing well.

I thought I would share with you a relatively small haul for a future series on budget brands with you but more on that in a future post.
Anyway, I purchased the Beauty UK CC cream as I have heard some amazing things about this particular CC cream the MUA blusher in Lolly, Make up revolution concealers: The one concealer and the matte effect concealer.
I have been using these products over the past week and so far, things are looking good. There will be a full review on all of these products in the not too distant future and I look forward to sharing that with you.
It is that time where I have to say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Racinne Moisturiser

Hello my lovelies,
how are you? I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on Racinne ultimate power cream, I was lucky enough to receive this as a gift with a subscription to Glamour in the middle of last year. Trying to find somewhere to repurchase this has been a bit of a nightmare and I am seriously gutted about it as this is fantastic. I know it is an expensive cream but I just love it and would seriously repurchase if it became easily available here in the UK. Having said that, I will give you an honest review in case you can get this moisturiser where you are.
This sinks into your skin like a dream, I could feeling it hydrating my skin almost instantly, which is difficult to do as my skin is currently changing as I get older. My skin alternates between dry/sensitive and combination which makes it all the more amazing that this cream works all month round. It doesn't leave your skin greasy, does not sit on the skin either. I stay hydrated all day and even through the night, it really is a fantastic cream and I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

ELF HAUL

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all feeling well and doinng OK?

When I heard that ELF was no longer going to be available in the UK I was gutted as they sell some of my all time favourite make up products eg their Mineral powder foundation is amazing, I love it more than the Bare Minerals, I love their blushers and their lipsticks are just downright amazing. When I heard they weren't going be available here I had to get some of my favourites (or at least what was available of them)  and this is what I have purchased:

Since writing this, I have found out that the Lovely guys from the America Elf company have said on the UK facebook page here : (just keep checking back for updates)

An important message from the e.l.f. team:

Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 & 2 review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I can't believe that we are in March already, how crazy is that? Seriously scary how fast these past couple of months have gone by.

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 & 2 palettes. I did, until recently, only wear matte eyeshadows but I have started to feel the love for the satin and pearl formula, though I still can't bring myself to use or even like, the glitter and shimmery eyeshadows.  I did find it difficult finding decent matte eyeshadows, so..... do I like any of these
or am I still on the hunt for decent matte eyeshadows?

Naked basics 1: the eyeshadows a little bit powdery but only minimal but super super soft, so much so that I get a little thrill when I use this palette. The pigmentation is phenomenal but it is pretty much what I have come to expect from Urban Decay eyeshadows.  They are not all matte but that doesn't stop me loving this sexy little number. I do think though, that there are cheaper nude palettes out there that are nearly as good or just as good as but for some reason, (I genuinely couldn't tell you why) this is 1 of my favourite nude eyeshadow palettes. 9/10

Naked 2: Ooh another sexy number, this just isn't fair UD. Stop it with all these palettes, it is not fair on my bank balance lol. I have to admit to an addiction to palettes, so it was inevitable that I would buy this beauty.  Weirdly enough, I do like it but I just won't use it. Why? I just don't like the shades on me, it makes me feel rather unimpressed with it. It has 3 highlighters, though you could use 2 of them as lid shades but I am very particular in what I want and sadly, for me, this is not it. There is nothing wrong with the eyeshadows, pigmentation is great, the feel to them is buttery soft I just don't like it on me. I have since passed this on to a wonderful friend of mine and she adores it.  For me, it has to be a 5/10.

I guess it is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

I Love Make up I heart Chocolate Palette Review & swatches

Hello my lovelies,
how are you?
I hope you are all keeping well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on Make up Revolution's I heart chocolate palette from the I heart make up line. It is available for £7.99 along with 2 other chocolate bar palettes and I do have them on my wish list too.
For me, budget make up has to be my favourite because, even though I do have a fair few high end make up items, my love will always be with budget brands.
Why?
Mainly because of the the quality you can get with certain brands for literally small change and that is a good thing though with some brands, you do, sadly, get what you pay for. So far though, Make Up Revolution (MUR) does not seem to be one of those brands. I hope that it stays that way.
For many years, my favourite budget brand has been Elf cosmetics, they are phenomenal for a budget brand and I will love them always. Make up Revolution is a relatively new brand having been around now for a little over a year and are doing pretty well though time will tell if they are going to be around for years and personally, I hope they are.
I do have to own up to a bit of a weakness at the minute for palettes, I am addicted and have a fair few to my name. I love trying out new ones all the time and among my favourites up to now has to be Elf studio 50 piece make up artist palette and Urban decays naked 3. So, MUR have a lot to live up to but can they compete? I guess we will find out soon enough but for now, onto my thoughts on the I love chocolate palette.
The packaging, as I think the whole world and her mother will know by now, looks like a bar of chocolate, though, for me, it does not make me want to lick it let alone eat it hehehe. I don't know if I like the packaging or not, I am still very on the fence about it and I would be just as happy if it was the normal black packaging that they have with all of the other palettes but that is just me. I do love that they have the names of the eyeshadows on the little plastic slip inside, just so you know for future reference.
The eyeshadows? I have to say that I am impressed, the formula in this palette is buttery soft with very little, to no fallout. The pigmentation is pretty damn good as well, I love using this palette and they blend beautifully even with your fingers if in a rush which, for me, can be quite regular.

I have to say that I have purchased a fair few other palettes on the back of this beauty and a few other make up products too so there will be more reviews in the not too distant future.
Do I think MUR are here to stay? Definitely. They are bringing out so many new products monthly that I think they are constantly on the lookout for new ideas, ways to improve their products, what their customers want, lust after and need.  I  do, however,  think that they need to slow down on bringing out so many new products in such a short space of time, (even if it is for me to save face with my bank manager lol). They do already have alot of phenomenal products out, with bringing out at least 3 new products a month. It can become nightmare central as it could start to feel as though they are just bringing out new items for the money and that is not a good thing. For them to keep up with the demand that they have set themselves and will (hopefully not) end up affecting the quality of the products.
I also think that pretty much everyone knows that MUR do alot of their make up based on higher end brands which is great but can become a little tedious if that is all they become known as. I do love a good dupe, as do alot of other people but I buy higher end products as a treat that I save up for and I don't want that taken away when I see a budget dupe for everything I lust after.
I hope they can come up with some original beauties that are all their own . I do think that they are constantly trying to improve each and every product that they already have out.
I look forward to seeing what else they are going to be bringing out over the coming months. Excited? Moi? Never. I know it sounds contradictory but that is the point, I am still at the point where it is exciting with every new product they bring out and hopefully, that stays. What are your thoughts? DO you think they are bringing out new products too fast? Or do you think they are bringing out the right amount?

It is that time where I say goodbye. Just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time

Boots Time Delay Eye Cream review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on Boots Time Delay Anti-Ageing eye cream though I can't find it on the Boots website. I hope they haven't discontinued it as I did love it and hope it is back soon.
I have found it difficult in finding the perfect eye cream for my sensitive eyes and I thought I had found it with this but I am afraid that this may have been discontinued and I really hope not as this was fantastic.
It did not irritate my eyes, sunk into my skin straight away and left my under eyes so unbelievably brightened and softened that I only really needed to use this once a day. I seriously love this and hope Boots bring it back soon as I miss this eye cream but don't like the other time Delay eye cream that they do. Gutted

Benefit It's Potent eyecream and Total Moisture facial cream review

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all well.

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the Benefit Total moisture cream and the It's Potent eye cream. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Benefit to be honest mainly because of the price point, for the prices Benefit charges, I want the products to be amazing and sadly, most of the time, I am left feeling underwhelmed or just pure loathing. Sad, I know. Now that I have admitted that I am slightly biased against Benefit, I will be stating my honest feelings on each of these.

I guess I will begin with Total Moisture: I actually don't mind this, it was a nice moisturiser, was it the most amazing moisturiser I have ever used? Well, no but it wasn't the worst either and for £28.50, it had better be amazing. I much prefer my Bodyshop Vitamin C  moisturiser but more on that in another post but if you do fancy giving Total Moisture a bit of a go, you can get it here or in a sample set in Boots shops.
It's Potent Eye Cream: The price of £25.50 put me off this straight away but having said that, I did love this eye cream though not enough to repurchase (as I said, the price put me off). This does sink into my skin straight away, moisturised my skin and left them rested and hydrated all day. However, I again can get that from my Boots Time delay eye cream, and that is more than half the price. I know which bad boy I will be buying again and again.
Benefit do amaze me with their packaging, ( that is where the money goes I think), some of the products are terrible (for me) but then there are the odd items that I love eg They're real mascara and Benetint (I have those and continue to repurchase). I just wish they weren't so hit and miss. Sad but true.
I guess it is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,

Urban Decay Shattered face Palette Review & Swatches

Hello my lovelies, how are you?
I hope you are all doing well?
I don't know about you but I am thankful that we are in March, I know that it shows that the year is going by so fast, however, for me, it means that Summer is just around the corner and I, for 1, seriously can't wait to get my feet into some seriously sexy flip flops. Let my poor feet breathe will ya hehe.

Anyhow, I thought I would share my love for a brand that I have been ignoring (well, sort of) for a number of years and that is mainly because at the time, I was only feeling the love for matte eyeshadow and the only matte items which were the naked basics palettes (and yup, there will be a review of those pretties in the future), not much else. So, a friend help me get my love of all eyeshadow (except glitter, I just cant bring myself to love it, though I can admire the prettiness of them), so I invested in the Shattered Face palette and the Urban Decay love start from there.
My initial reason for getting the palette was for travelling, which it is perfect for though it has become 1 of my least used palettes for travelling. Why? Mainly because I am very accident prone and I think I could possibly cry if anything happened to this...I love it that much. I take budget travel sets with me that I can more easily replace if I needed or even wanted to.
Ok, now that that is cleared up, I think I should tell you why I love it....the eyeshadow shades alone are just stunning, there are so many different looks I can create with these it is just crazy. Then  you get onto the pigmentation which is just phenomenal, I was super impressed and they blend beautifully. Have I mentioned how good they feel? No? They feel sooooooo good, I mean, when I say buttery soft, I mean more like pure silk, it just makes me go all gooey inside. Sad huh? Lol.
The blusher and highlighter themselves are just as good, matte and they give such a lovely pop of colour to the cheeks. I seriously love this palette.
The Super Saturated Lip Colour is the shade Lovechild and it really is a perfect choice for this palette, it so creamy, pigmented like heck and seriously long wearing. It also comes with a mini eyeliner in Zero, I rarely wear eyeliner but the UD liner are phenomenal, super creamy, easy to blend & work with, once they are set, they do not move and I mean I have to use eye make up remover even on swatches. I love this palette so much it is 1 of my all time favourites and that is saying something.
Have you tried the Shattered face palette? What are your thoughts and are the any UD products that you think I should try or avoid?

It is that time where I say goodbye, just remember that life is short, enjoy it and love one another.

Until the next time,
Ta Ta for now.
